hazel with a giant scythe with a little bow on it and bianca with a wooden crossbow she carved herself hmmm yes. oh and bianca’s bow is also engraved with little depictions and things

bianca loved jewelry. she especially adored traditional italian headpieces and necklaces her mother would adorn her with. she also hand altered a significant portion of her clothing, adding silver hems to her skirts or stitching flowers into the tops of her dresses. at westover hall she got in trouble numerous times for dramatically changing her uniform (in a unique way of protest) and wearing jewelry the staff did not find appropriate.

bianca didn't seem to notice how much she was adored. by her brother, of course. that wasn't a question, she was an eldest sister and it was a duty she kept close to her heart. however she never noticed how easily nico listened to her commands, or how he'd purposely try to impress her with spotless grades. she was his biggest inspiration. he wasn't the only one, younger boy cousins teasing her to attempt to show her how they could act "mature" like how the older boys at school did to the girls. they'd beg her to play with them, trailing behind her like ducklings. older relatives would purposely protect her, and when they weren't gifting her hairpins and jewelry she was trusted with their babies. she knew how to feed and change a child's diaper by ten years old, and somehow she had the ability to lull them back to soundless sleep. kittens would curl by her feet, horses would allow her to stroke their coats. she was loved.

bianca had an alluring way about her. though outcasted by her peers, they couldn't deny she had - something about her. it disturbed them. she was like a ghost, roaming the hallways in silence. once she was taken away, her precense seemed to haunt the building. "do you remember the di angelo girl? what was her name? where did she go?" her entire existence seemed an unanswered question to them. decades later her face would resurface in their memory, and they would be left wondering again who she really was. did they just make her up?

bianca never truly did enjoy traveling. she enjoyed observing the world, but with her grandfather being a diplomat it all seemed too overdone. she would've much rather had been at home with her piano, speaking to the graves in the yard or wandering venice to catch a stray cat. when placed on the boat to america, she couldn't stop herself from sobbing into her pillow at night. she knew she'd have no place there, and she knew english would come tough to her.

bianca's one true lifelong friend was her older cousin, isabella. three years older and one of five children, they seemed to understand eachother in a way no one else could. they didn't speak much, only in hushed whispers in their shared bedroom. isabella was the eldest of the di angelo cousins, busy helping parent three obnoxious boys who would tug on bianca's braids and one infant girl. they'd sit in silence together in the graveyard, passing snippets of poems back and forth. she shared bianca's reservedness yet compassion. sometimes isabella would come to listen bianca play the piano, when she was especially overwhelmed by her brothers. when isabella learned bianca was going to america, she grew jealous of her freedom and begged to be brought with. this of course did not happen, and they never did meet again. isabella would wonder until her dying breath where she had went, why the letters had suddenly ceased, and praying to be united with her girl she had made her younger sister in heaven.

bianca was much angerier than she ever let on. she possessed a strong will of justice, but it came in clash with her timid attitude. she'd write furiously in her diary about all the misgivings in the world, rant about how unfair her place as a woman was. she never did stop fighting for what she wanted or thought was right, even in a subtle and elegant manner. she stood strong in her opinions, her anger was something that came in well-articulated fits of fire.

bianca was rather musically inclined. she had a grand piano at the foot of the manor's spiral staircase. she often sat there late at night, playing softly haunting melodies that would fill the space with sound. she rarely ever played pieces that she had not curated herself. nico would sit beside the stool or on her lap, pressing keys as she played (much to her lighthearted annoyance.) her piano was originally bought for a long dead relative. of course, with time it became solely hers. she loved it dearly. becoming one of her prized possessions. after her own death, this love did not fade. rumor has it once the clock strikes midnight, you can faintly hear the sound of the piano playing with seemingly no one around.

bianca was a barefoot child. reserved in her mother's arms, burying her head in her chest when someone tried to speak to her. she itched at her dresses and cried profusely when forced to put on shoes. she always had her hair braided as it kept it away from her eyes, which would truly bother her. she was very timid, and everything seemed to frighten her at least in the slightest. she worried about everything. her brother, her mother, the war. she had intense separation anxiety (which eventually dissipated as she grew, but still remains in aspects of her.)
