It’s really unfortunate to see an entire generation that was taught to just hate poor people. So many people are facing evictions right now, and others smugly tell them that should’ve just paid their rent. “You should’ve had a rainy-day fund. This is your fault.”
Evictions are an act of violence. Forcing people onto the streets in the middle of a pandemic is wrong, full stop.
