I was wondering what Michael would realistically look like post-scoop so this is what I sketched up based on the references I found.

Disclaimer I’m not a doctor and neither am I studying to be in any type of medical field. This is all based on what I could glean from google and reddit.

Ok analysis/explanation + alt eyes drawing below cut:

Things I tried to implement into his design: some necrosis and skin that fell off, bruising and purpling from liver mortis cuz that’s what reddit said could be a cause for turning purple postmortem, yellowed bones and teeth, gaunt appearance, lack of fat and muscle, hair fell out (ignore the eyebrows I forgot abt them) (he’d probably have some thin patches of hair remaining too but just pretend he shaved it all off ok)

And the bloody eyes aren’t based in reality at all- I just wanted something similar to his sprite with the white pupils and dark sclera. Perhaps Ennard wriggling around in there fucked up the blood vessels in his eyes idk. They do light up in the mirror after he’s scooped so that implies Ennard replaced his eyes with their own, but if that’s the case then idk how the hell he’d see after they vacated his body.

Anyways here’s a more realistic eye appearance feat glossy/cloudy/foggy pupils (although I might’ve gone a bit overboard oops):

If u have any ideas or knowledge on how someone might look after having their organs scooped out, dying, having their corpse puppeted around by a robot, and then vomiting out said robot but continuing to move around via sci-fi soul magic feel free to leave ur input in the replies or notes. I’d love to have more data to factor into how I imagine everyone’s favorite undead night guard :)

It’s based off a priest/demon au (wesker was a demon posing as a priest) fic my friend was writing but she also never finished 😔

You can see my process w the background (left to right: newest to oldest) where I decided to forgo Jesus and do a cool RE-based stained glass window instead. Looking back on it now idk why a church would have an umbrella logo in their window LMAO. I’m pretty proud of the window design tho :)

I also originally had them older- I was using re5 for ref pics- but the fic was supposed to take place in STARS so I made them younger once I realized the error lol.

I always wonder abt this so I’m making a poll to consult the masses.

Personally I love that it’s a feature and I like having alternate versions of art under a cut whether it’s my own post or someone else’s.

Sometimes I don’t rlly care tho but I still open it cuz what if there’s something bad under the cut. Like what if there’s suddenly a racist rant under it or smthn! Idk I just have anxiety. Does anyone else relate tho. Am I alone in this.

Anyways whenever I post my art with alt vers under a readmore I worry that ppl hate it. Or like is there anyone out there who gets dissuaded from reblogging purely cuz there’s alt versions. Is that a thing.
