Head tilting to the side and eyes narrowing a bit, Alice sighed softly. "Did the fall hurt you? I think I might know something to ease the pain. You just have to trust me on it." She nodded. "Oh, no offense taken. I'm from up there just like you. I come down everyday, come and go as I please sort of thing." The blonde shifted her cat a bit, which meowed softly and began to fall asleep in her arms. "They're just a bunch of weirdos. Talking flowers, these two annoying twins, a Dodo bird, rabbit, cat. They'll probably treat you a lot better than they treat me."

After briefly placing a hand to his head to make sure he wasn’t bleeding, Jesse smiled once again at the girl before and nodded before quickly glancing at his surroundings. “Wonderland?” He repeated, half convinced this had to have all been some kind of weird dream. “I don’t know if I’d really say weird, but this… This definitely isn’t what I’d call normal.” Finally, he brought his eyes back to her, his expression almost sheepish. “No offense if you’re like, from here or something. Wait, what do you mean by ‘creatures?”

"It's lovely to meet you too, Jesse." Said Alice, tapping her chin in thought as she looked at the newcomer. She tried to remember back to her first time falling down the rabbit hole. Giving out a small huff, she grabbed her cat Delilah, left her book on the floor, and looked at Jesse. "You've fell into Wonderland. I'd say congrats, but I don't really know how you take meeting weird creatures in a strange place." She couldn't help but smirk. "Honestly, if you think this is weird, then you haven't seen anything yet."

Jesse picked himself slowly off the ground, his brow furrowing in confusion as he took in his surroundings. His head was pounding fiercely and he knew he had undoubtedly bruised a few ribs from the fall, but he focused his attention entirely on the blonde stranger the second he heard her voice, squinting his eyes slightly for a moment before offering an almost apologetic smile. “Hi, Alice. I’m Jesse. It’s… It’s nice to meet you.”
