Changes to RWBY Fables

Hey everyone! It’s Blazeburner here! Sorry I’ve been gone for so long. I have no real excuse for my long...LONG absence. You can say that I’ve been having trouble with RWBY Fables as a whole fanfic because...well, it was something I kind of rushed into without proper planning or world building. So I was kind of all over the place with it going with the flow just popping out ideas as I wrote my fanfic. Using the world of the series RWBY itself as a planner. But as the show and...behind the scenes stuff continued to happen...I guess I just decided to step away for a little while without any warning or notice. But RWBY Fables was something I created. The Original Characters, Team DARK, all of it. And I don’t want to stop to the point of which I lose it. So I made a decision. You can say that...I am gonna reboot RWBY Fables. For RWBY Fables to continue, I have to provide myself with a better plan. World Building, a fair plot, characters with development. So RWBY Fables will be returning slowly as I work out everything.

RWBY Fables : Angry Mother

It is parent visitor day at Beacon Academy, but in a janitor closet at Beacon Academy hides Alice Vermillion who refuses to peek outside. She is on the ground sweating as she looks over to Duran who is hiding in the closet with her, “You think we’re safe in here?” Before the red haired boy could answer the question, he hears the sound of a crashing vase. She is close and he knows it. He looks at Alice looking more scared than she is, “I don’t think so.” “OUT OF MY DESIGNATED CHILDREN IN THIS FABLED ACADEMY, WHO HERE IS WILLING TO COME OUT AND EXPLAIN THIS?!” Out in the hallway causing fellow students to panic into the dorm rooms was Grace Taker, Duran’s foster mother. However, her usual friendly playful self has at the moment been replaced with the fury of a raging mother, which is even causing those who come to her diner to flee in terror. But why is she angry you ask? Well, the answer is clear as day as she is holding onto two things of Chicken Flavored Ramen Noodles. Meaning someone among her hand picked children is eating unhealthy and she wasn’t gonna tolerate that. Duran, who is the culprit, continues hiding in the closet refusing to go outside, believing that Grace might be overreacting a bit, “What the hell? I just got those cause I felt like eating light today.” Alice pats Duran on the shoulder, “It’s okay buddy. No one's gonna blame you.” “I FULLY BLAME WHOEVER DID THIS!” Grace throws the two things of noodles into a dumpster as she continues pacing down the hall looking for her set of missing children as Kira steps out of the way of the raging husky mother, “I said once and I’ve said it a thousand times! NOT A SINGLE ONE OF MY CHILDREN IS GONNA EAT LIKE A SEWER RAT AS LONG AS I AM DRAWING BREATH!!” Brianna peeks out from behind one of the doors raising a finger in defense of the two possible culprits she is looking for, “Well Ms. Taker, n-n-noodles do possess a low level of s-s-sodium.” Grace turns around to glare at the defenseless Brianna, who takes cover behind the door of which she slams shut, “I’M S-SORRY! IGNORE ME! I D-DON’T KNOW ANY BETTER!” Grace goes back to looking for her two missing children, eventually finding Alex who is unaware of Grace’s rampage, “YOU! LANCER BOY!” Alex finches at the tone of Grace as he turns around to make eye contact with her, which was a terrible mistake now that he sees how upset she is, “G-G-Good evening Grace. Anything I can help you with?” “I have a Healthy Chicken Pot Pie Soup and a heavy load of discipline that needs a target! WHICH ONE YOU WANT FIRST?!” Alex, scared shitless at this point, quickly points to the closet where Duran and Alice are in hopes of being spared from Grace’s fury, “It wasn’t me! It was Duran and Alice! They are hiding in the janitor’s closet! Please don’t pummel me!” Duran hears Alex snitch on both him and Alice, narrowing his eyes as he makes a mental note to pummel Alex himself personally if he makes it out of this, “Okay Alex.” The janitor closet door swings open with Grace glaring at the two culprits she has been looking for, “YOU TWO! DINING ROOM KITCHEN! NOW!!”

Working with Dust Users in the RWBY Universe

In front of Team DARK is another Freshmen Class of New Beacon Academy. However, they have been incased in Ice and are struggling to get loose…saying some very upsetting words in the process : “%$@#*(&^($@%!”

Duran, Ross, and Alice looks at the incased team dumbfounded till Duran looks at the Dust Caster responsible who is standing next to them : “You couldn’t have done that earlier?”

Kira looks at her red haired leader annoyed with both his tone and the stupid question : “The next time I say ‘Get out the damn way’, I mean ‘Get out the damn way’. You’re lucky I gave a warning at all.”

RWBY Fables : The Accident

Grace peeks from the kitchen, looking at Team DARK who had stopped by from the academy to visit for the weekend : “Alright kids. Food is ready.~”

Duran looks at his scroll playing a games, but he gives a soft wave to Grace : “Yes mom.”

Alice, Ross and Kira with their own devices……failed to catch themselves as they quickly made a slight blunter : “YES MOM.”

Duran pauses his game to look at his team with wide eyes : “?!”

Ross quickly swallows his burger with wide eyes shocked with himself : “?!”

Kira looks from her study book quickly red faced with embarrassment : “Ah! Wha-?!”

Alice’s hyena ears jolt completely upward as her cheeks turn red as steam shoots from her ears : “OOOOHH MY GOOODDD!!”

As Kira and Ross try to apologize with Alice tries to apologize while fighting off laughter, Grace can only cover her mouth as she hides the biggest smile on her face : “Oh dear!”

Semblance Change : Kira Myst

One of the changes to Team DARK while I was away was the review into Kira’s semblance. And after much thought, I figured I could give it a little change. Looking into Kira’s arsenal and skills in Dust Manipulation, I changed Kira’s semblance to a more of...Dust Amplification. As the name suggests, Kira can amplify the output of the Dust she uses,  increasing both it’s effectiveness and damage. To do this, Kira has to *feel* the presence of nearby Dust, which is usually on her person, and connect her Aura to it, thus Amplifying it’s effects. Case in point, a simple fire ball from a Fire Dust Crystal if amplified will become as hot as if it was a inferno fire. Or Ice Spears from Ice Dust will become less fragile. Here is something else more exciting. There is also a Chain Effect that comes with her Semblance. If nearby allies are using Dust, she can amplify their Dusts as well. However, the further the person is the less amplification there is. And she has to be able to sense their Dust so she can use her semblance to their combat benefits.

Fan Made Grimm : The Lenshen

In my latest chapter, I made an appearance of another of my fan made Grimm of which I still haven’t gotten around to drawing ): . The Lenshen. The Lenshens range from 10 feet to 25 feet in terms of height, having a humanoid appearance, they stand straight on two legs. They are slim by appearance. Like most Grimm they are covered in black, but along the ends of their arms, they have white hardened scales that extend into their large hands and finger-like claws. They have white fur along their collar bone area going alone their neck and shoulder blades. They masks are that of a deer, having horns on each end and have red outlines leading from the forehead to the nose. Their eyes are mostly red. They also have hardened white scales along their waist line with white fur reaching down to their necks, and hardened scales on their feet to their ankles. The Lenshen is an upper level type Grimm that are believed to be territorial. Mostly residing in forests and woods. Case studies from huntsmen scouts indicate that though Lenshens off of nature are drawn to negative emotions like other Grimm, they tend to leave people alone as long as humans and faunus do not venture into their territory. Case studies also show that Lenshens seem to have a level of influence on the lesser Grimm in their area. “A sense of command”, more to say. Lenshens are relatively slow in terms of combat. But they make up for their slow movements with their incredible strength and durability, which is often a surprise given their slim appearance. And with their sense of commands over the lesser Grimm, they are never alone when on the hunt. So it is never a good idea to fight a Lenshen alone for the lesser Grimm will defend the Lenshen.

I had to go on a bit of a break. But Imma try to be a bit more active here on Tumblr. Team DARK has also gone through a few little changes. The Ask Box is once again open and I am working on chapter’s again. It’s good to be back. ^_^

The Empty Bottle

Alice walks into the bathroom to shower. She goes to get her hair products to realize….someone had used up all of her hair conditioner. The hyena’s ears flick up and down as she comes into terms that her most important hair product had been used…and no one told her. She chuckles as her entire playful mood has been replaced with something else entirely.

Alice with her hair still undone charges out of the bathroom and enters the room where both Team’s DARK and ZBRA are in, “HEY!”

The angry hyena’s tone even makes Duran jump as everyone turns around and looks at her, “What the shit?”

Kira adjusts her glasses as she looks at the faunus in question noticing her hyena ears are drop, “Alice! Why are you yelling?!”

Rena Rena raises an eyebrow as she looks at Alice’s hair, “And why is your hair undone? You’d normally have it-”

Alice cuts off Rena Rena by raising her empty bottle of hair conditioner showing it to everyone in the room, “What is this?”

Brianna looks at the bottle realizing what it is, “That would be a bottle of hair conditioner.”

“An empty…bottle….of hair conditioner.”

Alice asks, “How much does this cost?”

Kira shakes her head, finding it ridiculous that Alice is fussing over a bottle of hair conditioner, “5 lien? Alice please, you can easily-“

Alice chuckles at Kira’s answer and statement, the chuckling even threw Zeleaf for a curve, “5 lien?…Haha. 5 lien, of course an Atlas person would say something like that. Expensive is just cheap to you.”

Kira quickly leans up from her spot on the couch in shock, “Excuse me?!”

Duran waves down Kira, “Ah, Kira. I don’t Alice is in the mood this time.”

Alice looks at the bat eared faunus Rena Rena, “Rena Rena….how much does this bottle cost?”

Rena Rena looks at the bottle and back at the angry hyena holding it, “I’d say about 15 lien.”

”15 lien. With an extra 3 lien for both shipping and handling since the stores here in Vale either don’t have it or always out of stock! Who used up my hair conditioner and didn’t tell me?!”

Duran gets up and raises his hands, “Alice listen-“

The hyena question looks at him with a death glare. It was enough to actually send shivers down his spine as he sits back down, “-I ain’t touch it.”

Kira followed suit seeing the different mood in Alice this time, “I didn’t touch it.”

Rena Rena goes back to her book to defend herself, “I got my own.”

Ross just shrugs his shoulders as he continues to sit in his meditative position, “I’m allowed to use it. So I’m good.”

”No one…..really?”

The hyena then realizes that a certain someone has been uncharacteristically quiet this whole time. Her hyena ears drop as she quickly turns to the most likely suspect, “ALEX!!”

Everyone turns to Alex…who has been sitting quietly this whole time….with drops of sweat running down his face as he tries not to make eye contact with her.

”Alex?”

The spearman of Team ZBRA takes a deep breath and looks at Alice as he answers weakly, “…Yes?”

That was all the hyena needed. She quietly nods and looks at Rena Rena, “Do you have hair conditioner?”

”Yeah. Follow me.”

Rena Rena quickly gets up and leads Alice to the bathroom.

Alex takes a breath of relief…only for Duran to look his way with a straight face, “You’re screwed.”

Alex looks at Duran confused, “What?”

The red haired boy starts putting on his headphones and leans back on the couch, “Take it from someone who grew up with mostly women buddy. Don’t touch the hair conditioner.”

Zera looks at the doomed boy next to her as she moves away from him, “There is a scorned woman planning a prank for you buddy. You got big bullseye on your back.”

”Hahaha. Come on, this is Alice we’re talking about! She wouldn’t do anything like that, right?”

Alex’s words fell on deaf ears as everyone looks away from the poor boy. The spearman of Team ZBRA is alone. And not even fate knows what is in stored for him.

”….Right?!”

Preview for Chapter 21 of RWBY Fables

The Eastern City of Vale was under attack. The Reports from Professor Arc states that the Troika Gang caused an explosion near the eastern walls, drawing the Grimm closer to the population.

Headmistress Weiss Schnee could only look from her office window as Blake Belladonna rushes into the office, “Weiss!”

Weiss looks back at Blake, “Get to the city! Lock down the Eastern Border and prevent any stragglers from attacking the evacuees!”

“What about Jaune and the others?! We still have two or three student teams there!”

“Jaune will figure something out! He knows what he has to do! If we don’t get this contained, it’ll spread into the Central City and we lose everything! Go!”

Blake looks out to the city and rushes out of office leaving Weiss in there to ponder. Something was wrong.

The Troika Gang isn’t smart or brave enough to pull a stunt like this. And neither the Wild Hunt or this so called serial killer was no where to be found?

Someone else was pulling the strings here.
