This was a little bit rushed because I literally started it yesterday but I really wanted to make something for his day. He’s such a beloved character to me, and I fully believe he deserves it. I hope there’s a universe out there where he knows exactly how much love he has going for him. I just know he would adore all the art, stories and everything in between that people make for him.

I started disliking one big Klance artist when she deliberately only uploaded Keith birthday art every year and then uploaded a Keith piece on Lance's birthday.

Then to make up for it, she uploaded the only Lance art she ever drew and it was old and it didn't get as much attention as the Keith art.

Like that told me a lot about how she saw these two characters. She went above and beyond for Keith but when it came time to celebrate Lance, she didn't really give a fuck.

And that's honestly the attitude a lot of klancers adopt.

Keith stans just can't let another character have any attention. It's practically pathological how much they whine about THE LITERAL SHOW FOCUSED CHARACTER getting "neglected". You people are fucking insufferable.

Sorry that some of us like Lance more and is celebrating his birthday month and want to create art and fics about him for his birthday.

It's Julance, of course Lance is the focus of this month. So oh my god, shut up about Keith for once. He's the star of the actual show and have the focus of the fandom 11/12 times out of the year. You can let someone else be the star.

Imagine if we said this on Keithtober about Lance, keith stans would be mean asf about his character and the stans.
