I’ve been making a lot of lore posts as of late and I don’t have any art to make any more introduction posts ( although I might just do it anyways ) because I am actually insane about Bloodsoaked Contract like ALL THE TIME like you guys don’t understand HELP

I wanna yap about a lot of things but they are unfortunately spoilers 💔 because I am insane and I have nothing else to talk about that isn’t spoilers I will very likely just be posting old art or beta designs and talking about it here before I make more art

Introducing… Cain Apate. ( He/Him )

Cain Apate is one of two protagonists of Bloodsoaked Contract and a participant in The Eden Organization’s side of the recruitment game. Cain Apate is only well-known for the fact of his riches and general support for TEO, but not much else. This is the first time he’s publicly shown his face, and he mostly keeps to himself throughout the game.

However, the other protagonist, and participant on the Coalition of Chaos’ side, Émile Dion seems to instantly recognize Cain. And Cain recognizes him. The two have a past shrouded in mystery, although it is clear that they were once in love. Cain tries to keep his distance from Émile, although his success at this varies by route.

Cain himself is very outwardly stoic, but is steadfastly focused on his mission, which goes against the goals of the recruitment game entirely. Cain keeps most of his emotions bottled up inside, but has a lot of them, and they change at a rate he can’t even keep up with. It’s clear that the man has some sort of past that has made him the person he is today. But he is staunchly determined, and a master at impersonation and deception, all for his mission, which he views as important above all else.

He won’t even let his supposedly backstabbing ex-boyfriend get in his way.

Also Cain ref is coming soon… gonna tweak his design some!!! He also desperately needs an intro post because he is quite literally 1/2 of the protagonists for the game WHEJNS

I’ll probably also share some of the beta designs for the sillies cuz these 3 are pretty much the only ones out of my OCs who have beta designs. ( for context: Mala and Ophelia are the oldest of my OCs for this project because back in the day BC was a roleplay on discord 😭 Cain was my first character made after me and Rainy switched the project over to a game. )

Introducing… Malachi Palmer. ( They/Them )

Malachi Palmer is the assistant of Ophelia for the recruitment game. They are the Chief Recruitment Officer of The Eden’s Organization, and a loyal friend to Ophelia. Their status within the organization has come into question lately, around the same time, they have started seriously questioning their beliefs, upbringing and doctrine that TEO pushes.

Malachi has been with the organization for around 5 years officially, although their adoptive parents have been members since before Malachi was adopted. They were adopted overseas and have no idea how to find their birth parents, or if they are even alive. And because of Malachi’s parents and their strict upbringing, they were raised to believe they would be going against god’s will to do so. In recent years Malachi has made attempts to connect to their Indian and Egyptian heritage, but these attempts have been mostly pushed back on by their family and the higher ups at TEO.

They are completely closeted to just about everyone except Ophelia and the participants of the recruitment game, Malachi seems to have taken a bold choice with their fashion and presentation during the game when otherwise they would normally shy away from this. This has also raised some questions amongst Ophelia herself, who finds it strange to see that Malachi has some sort of connection with the assistant to COC, River.

The Eden’s Organization Info Post

You may have heard whisperings of this organization on this blog, and I am here to give a quick, but vague rundown. ( gotta keep it spoiler-free ;) )

The Eden’s Organization, or TEO started as a weapon’s manufacturing organization in WWII, and it eventually expanded to produce more goods. The company was founded on christian ideals by Leopold Bethel I. Eventually, after the end of the war it expanded to become a charity as well. This expansion didn’t fully take the direction it did that we know today until the retirement of Leopold Bethel I, and the takeover of the company and charity by his second-born child, Leopold Bethel II.

Leopold Bethel II expanded the corporation, transformed the charity into offering missions all around the world, and even creating a PAC to support politicians with “traditional values.” TEO is famous and beloved among traditionalist, right-wing, christian/morman circles. However the organization remains infamous among left-wing groups, they mostly receive indifference from centrist democrats, but many have taken a stance against the organization. Although this perspective is not widely popular, as the power of TEO’s PAC has come to influence many elections in recent years, although not quite powerful enough to turn the tides of the most recent 2012 election.

Today, in the year of our lord, 2013, TEO’s CEO remains to be Leopold Bethel II, and the current COO is Ophelia Cinderhall. Typically, the Chief Recruitment Officer, Malachi Palmer handles most of the recruitment drives by themselves, but Leopold has encouraged a return to the “Recruitment Trials” from years past, despite Malachi’s hesitance, Ophelia took up the charge in leading one with Malachi at her side. Although this Recruitment Trial has the twist of occurring alongside a very similar Recruitment Game by enemy organization, The Coalition of Chaos.

Very basic summary of TEO, I can’t quite reveal much more about their very in depth history unfortunately, don’t want to spoil any reveals that will be learned in the game proper. Even if the game proper is still many many years away, can’t help but yap about these awful guys on here. And I hope this can provide some context if you decide to draw any of these guys mentioned on Artfight :)

Introducing… Ophelia Cinderhall. ( She/Her )

Our cold and calculating host of The Eden Organization’s side of the recruitment game. She works alongside her assistant, Malachi Palmer to enforce the rules of the game and ultimately promote the TEO survivor with a place among the executives.

Ophelia ( or as she’s known by her close friends, Phee ) is 31 years old although she feels far beyond her years. She’s been involved with The Eden’s Organization for around a decade, following in her late-father, Walter Cinderhall’s footsteps. She is half-Spanish, half-Filipino, although she remains disconnected from her mother’s side. She currently is the Chief Operating Officer of TEO’s business branch and assists the CEO, Leopold Bethel II in operating the business, charity and PAC branches. Ophelia is bisexual, although remains largely closeted to the public as it would affect the organization’s “image.” She remains devoutly roman catholic despite her ideology, which is far more centrist than is typical in The Eden’s Organizations, many lower executives considering Ophelia to be “too radical” and “too left-wing.” However Leopold insists that his choice in making her COO was a strategic one and that Ophelia will be willing to put her loyalty for the organization over all her other beliefs.

Hello, my name is Aaron! I'm one of the co-creators of Bloodsoaked Contract and I use he/him pronouns! I'm also the creator of The Eden's Organization side of the game. Cain Apate, Ophelia Cinderhall, Malachi Palmer, Miriam Briar, Hackett Smith, Eve Briar, Polly Calico, Estella Ringo and the TEO executives are all my characters!
