I’m supposed to graduate next semester. I’ve been waiting my whole life for this, seemingly. these past 4 years have been cruel. I’ve been thinking about k*lling myself.

have you ever touched your skin and thought- i am real, alive, existing. have you ever been so stunned by your very existence that you gape at the mirror for a few moments, catching every flaw and stray hairs you wished didn’t exist? have you ever grappled with the concept that you and your actions have the capability to move mountains, or ruin lives? how beautiful it is to be alive, yet still so unaware that you really do exist.
the magnitude of my existence weighs heavily on my shoulders. |(morsus engel)| (via actuates)

when my mother was pregnant with her second child, i was 4 i pointed at her swollen belly confused at how my mother had gotten so big in such little time my father scooped me in his tree trunk arms and said the closest thing to god on this earth is a woman’s body it’s where life comes from and to have a grown man tell me something so powerful at such a young age changed me to see that the entire universe rested at my mother’s feet

I’m a collector of unusual things, Of things you can’t quite place in a jar that rests on your shelf or arrange in neat rows to display. I’m a collector of unusual things, Of broken promises and empty wishes upon shooting stars, Of cracked teeth from liquor bottles and lipstick stained faces at 3AM. I’m a collector of the things people don’t want to remember, Like how it feels to be told they “just don’t love you the same” or How many times you can punch a wall without breaking your hand. I’m a collector of unusual things, Of ghost memories and worn down scrapbooks where all the pictures are faded out and Nothing really makes sense anymore, Of freezing hardwood floors on bare feet at early hours of the morning and The first time you heard your parents fighting. I’m a collector of unusual things, And maybe they’ll become useful one day.
