23 month old baby and mother murdered

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder following the death of a 23-month old baby and a 43 year old woman believed to be the mother.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the address in Oswald Mead, Hackney after 9.10am after reports of three people injured.

The man who is under arrested is being treated with non-life threatening injures in London Hospital.
