Felt very nostalgic the past few days and decided to replay Alice: Madness Returns and ooough,,, that game really helped defined my creativity and imagination

It’s also given me some more ideas for the Shattered Sky AU, if anyone interested in that AU wanted to get a feel for parts of the worlds inspiration, the Infernal Train and the Vale of Doom are big visual inspos

Being Cirice'd by Copia needed some improvement <3

Realize I never uploaded this piece again after I fixed some of the old mistakes I made a whole three years ago so I could include this in my senior exhibition (god it's been a while)

Most of the fixes were to the face, only some minor things were done to the hand and clothes. If you want to see the old and new version comparison, look under the cut!

The major difference, as I said, is the face. I never liked how the nose or mouth came out, especially the teeth,,, 2022 me was not very good at executing the forms of either of the two, so they were my main focus when I was fixing the piece. Did some minor touch ups to the forehead, eyes, ears, and cornette.

Moving on to the hand and clothes, mainly just added more rim lighting to improve contrast, and then fixed the necklace (why the original was curved is beyond me).

Wow, Bones actually posting art of their Sibling of Sin sona/oc? Not even I saw this coming!

Meet Rigorian Mortuous, yes it's a play on Rigor Mortis (my name is literally Bones Lake, expect nothing less of me).

I've mentioned them here and there on different posts about my "Bonesverse" au for the Ghost lore, but their job is basically the Ghoul Overseer because the version of the Ministry in the au, while still being a Church/Cult, does still have a lot of bureaucracy even for managing the Ghouls that have been summoned. It's a play on me being a Ghoul artist for the most part, so yeah!

I mainly did this cause I actually wanted to have art using this portrait style I've been doing that wasn't for a behind the scenes project. Expect more portraits as I plan on also doing my characters Brother Emerens, Cardinal Lionel, and Cardinal Cainan!

You guys will most likely see me call the new Ghoul Thunderstorm because Storm is the most common name for him, but Thunder has my heart and the thud of the name fits his deep voice <3

And that growl he did during one of the songs at the Philly Ritual, I have more ideas to improve my design for him a little bit (since the first drawing I do of ghouls can never actually be my final design, it’s my curse)

I think the Shattered Sky AU is gonna make its return sooner rather than later,,, totally for no particular reason what so ever,,, tooootally :)

The Philly Ritual was so fucking good guys holy shit, Prime Mover went so fucking hard and I didn’t expect it to be played!

But I wanted to make a quick post of everything that happened while I was at the Ritual (from what I remember) and interactions I had!

My roommate and I were dead center second row in the pit, just behind barrier so we were so close to the stage, perfect place to interact with Papa and the floor Ghouls, as well as the wonderful Richie who took such great care of those in the front of the pit!

- BIG ONE! VERY IMPORTANT! At the end of Kiss the Go-Goat after Papa was done kissing the crowd, I screamed KISS US HARDER as loud as I could in the silence and he acted taken aback, and actually kissed us HARDER!!!! Wound up his hand, licked the shit out of it, and threw that kiss right to center barricade! I’m surprised he even heard me!!!

- Since we were so close we got to interact with Richie a lot! I did a little finger wave at him to ask for a water bottle and he did it back! He also gave me and my roommate crisp Mummy Bucks with our waters!!!

- During one song, Richie put Mummy Bucks on one of the camera operators’ cameras as a prank!

- When Richie was fanning us, my roommate did little finger hearts and he did a hand heart back! Richie also tried to throw a Mummy Bucks paper airplane at them but it went the wrong way, which is probably why he handed us a stack of it!

- Richie gave Papa a Mummy Buck, Papa licked it and threw it into the crowd and the woman behind us caught it and another woman next to us said “Now you have Tobias’s spit”

- Storm gave me a heart back at one point!

- Haze gave my roommate a hand heart back at one point too!

- During Umbra while Dew and Cirrus were doing this battle, Rain was acting all meh about Dew’s performance, and I wiggled my hand in the ehhhh symbol and he did it back!!! We also shrugged at each other at the end of the battle! It was delightful!!!

- God, I think it was Year Zero, Phantom was just rolling around on his side of the stage!

- One of the songs near the end, can’t remember which, Aurora came down off her stage and was dancing with Rain!

- During Umbra, Haze was tapping her head along with Aurora like she was a cowbell!

- During Lachryma or DATHOML (both had lyrics about crying, hard to remember) Rain was hiding his face with his veil like he was wiping his tears (I’m planning on making a doodle of this, I was in awe the entire time)

- Papa also stared me and my roommate down for a good while during a song,,, it was disconcerting :D

- During the bow, it was so cute, all of the Ghoulettes came up to the front and was giving us hand hearts!!

- I GOT A PIC! FINALLY! Plus my haul from the night!

Most of the aus and universes I make for Ghost also include me and my friends’ characters because I am self indulgent and Dreadking Copia unfortunately is together with my sibling of sin turned Cursed Knight

I probably will rarely post content of them though unless I actually get more into the story of it all so everyone is free to imagine the Dreadking however they want 🥰

Well, I gotta start my agenda over here again cause apparently I do that now. Ghoul designer, gotta stick my hand into the naming ring!

I’ve been liking Thunder the most as the name is big! It’s heavy! There’s weight when you say the name. The new Air Ghoul is reportedly big, so I think the name suits him.

Thunder to me is a very air name as Thunder is the sound of Lightning, our air heating up rapidly and making that strike.
