“All this for a child who isn’t even here. You ungrateful, selfish wretch! You come into my house, you lay your filthy-man hands on my daughters! And now you even try to steal my property!”
#resident evil 8#Lady Dimitrescu#okay question...#was this always in the game?#or was this added after Capcom realized the entire community wanted Lady D to rough them up?

Just realised I never posted this short comic I made in 2019! Some of the art is a little wonky because I had to rush this out in a couple of weeks for a zine fair I was attending. I think my digital art skills have improved a bit since then.
I’m not the first person to suggest that cats are staring at something we can’t see when they stare into space but I thought it would make a fun comic idea. This was also inspired by a picture book I read a lot as a kid- Slobcat by Paul Geraghty, which had a similar narrative style though obviously without the horror elements.
Thanks for reading! If you enjoyed my comic please consider supporting my work by buying something from my store or donating via Ko-Fi!

I was drawing a bunch of pentagrams in my notebook during math class because I was bored and I think I drew 150 pentagrams in total before a devilish-looking guy wearing a red suit broke down the door of the classroom and yelled “wHAT the fUCK do you wANT?!”

The world is in DESPERATE need of animated horror movies, I adore your shorts, and if you ever make a full length film (or, hell, something 10 minutes long, even), my face will melt off. Honestly it's melting off already because I love your work!! Whenever anyone is like "Oh I really like Trevor Henderson" I'm like "have you seen cinemamind's work? You should." I adore the stories attached to each image, especially when there's a whole batch of illustrations, because what else is the world in desperate need of? Horror comics.
So you're essentially carrying the world of horror on your back!! How's it feel??
You’re too kind >////< but I don’t see myself as carrying the world of horror on my back. There are so many talented horror artists out there who have made some exciting work that impresses me to no end and have done more to change the horror landscape than I ever could.
My personal dream is to one day make a 2D animated feature film that can be as terrifying as something like ‘The Exorcist.’ I still have a long way to go and much to learn, but I believe that horror animation has limitless potential and it’s something that I have a deep passion for.
And hey, maybe that dream will come true sooner than expected! I have been collaborating with more and more clients who have taken a chance on my art and I hope to share more animated horror content sometime this year. It all just takes a bit of time.
But trust me, there is going to be way more animated horror content coming out in the near future, from all kinds of artists. It’s going to be amazing!
As for comics, I have slowly been working on those as well. I have been lucky enough to collaborate on anthologies, covers and even a dark children’s book, of all things!

Before computers, executed criminals had death masks made of them in order to keep a record of who had been killed. This practice was first brought in by the English in approximately the 1800s, but it was quickly introduced to Australia years later where it remained popular. The masks were so detailed, that you could see eyelashes, hairs, and even the rope marks from the noose that had taken the criminals life.
