This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. Did the little stuffed plush of the current Papa actually say that, or was it a strange thought in Quin's mind, coming and going like the tide? Hard to know.

Felt real, though.

Quin pauses as she's carefully using tweezers to pick little rat hairs out of the fabric of her Plushia's face. She had forgotten to close her bedroom door this morning and came back to one of Papa's rats cuddled up to Plushia where she had left him on the windowsill, watching the sunrise. She managed to shoo him away, but the little fuzzy friend had gotten his fur all over Plushia, and she set to work in getting him cleaned up.

She tilts her head, putting down her tweezers and lifting Plushia under his arms, getting a good look at him with a tilted head. "Are you planning on killing me, little Plushia?" Quin asks curiously. After a few moments she breaks into giggles and lowers him back into her lap, giving him a kiss on his little head on the way. "Wouldn't be the first time I died," she shrugs as she goes back to plucking rat hair off of him. "Maybe you could make it stick this time. Good luck!"
