Uncertain Futures, Constant Care
2024 - Premiered at CO.LABS (CZ)
Uncertain Futures, Constant Care is a site-specific work, influenced by the current political climates of our home countries - Hungary and Slovakia, where artistic landscapes feel increasingly narrowed and creative autonomy faces persistent pressures. The work has embraced care, as a form of resilience and as a framework amidst uncertainty.
Concept, performance Eva Urbanova, Flóra Boros
This project is supported by the instrument RRF and Czech National recovery plan as of Next Generation EU program, Call No. 0315/2023 - Development of Competences: Projects of International Artistic and Professional Cooperation in the Czech Republic II. HAZE
HAZE (solo edition) is a durational site-specific project addressing the climate crisis from a mental health perspective. It is set in a disoriented state, blurring the boundaries between timelessness and non-linear perception. To cope with constant dizziness and the paradoxical sense of falling upwards, the project embraces various soothing practices as essential tools and catalysts, offering an exploration of new bodily sensations in response to disorienting conditions.
HAZE portrays a personal journey and its attempt to deal with the emotional drain caused by eco-anxiety. The body operates through the memories of triggered states and sensations. The experience is raw, vulnerable, and brutally despairing. Concept, performance Flóra Boros Sound design Patrick Pazdzior Dramaturgy Melina Papoulia Funded by the European Union and the Goethe-Institut.  Thanks to Im_Flieger, workspacebrussels, Raw Matters Tender Steps Residency, Manoir en Mouvement.
This work was produced with the financial assistance of the European Union. The views expressed herein can in no way be taken to reflect the official opinion of the European Union.

CINDY
CINDY is an experiment that dissects kinesthetics, sounds and visuals into isolated scores, slowly molding into a sensory representation of game theory. A desire to investigate behaviors in situations where the outcome of decisions is influenced by the possible choices of each element. They are reassembled according to a game theory algorithm using live coding, enabling sensitive interaction between all elements and offering a new installation each time. It is not so much an attempt to imitate games in the traditional sense, but rather a play between fragmented states. Inspired by the loopy pathways of Hurricane Cindy, a clear game-theoretical pattern emerges as the body storms through the space.
Concept, performance Flóra Boros Live sound and light design Gábor Lázár Outside Eye Melina Papoulia
Premiered at WUK Vienna 14-15 November 2023. Additional performances at Schwere Reiter (TANZWERKSATT EUROPA Open Stage), Theater Arche, Kaaistudio’s (Open Studios organised by workspacebrussels).
With kind support from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport. Thanks to workspacebrussels, Im_Flieger, ATLAS programme ImPulsTanz, D.ID Dance Identity, NunArt, Bears in the Park, Raw Matters and Workshopfoundation.

paradox
Could a dystopia be considered as a utopia? If the world is destined to be destroyed, then every element of a dystopia is actually leading to the perfect outcome, where every disruption happens for a reason and that’s the correct order of events.
One’s relation to the world, to society and to oneself differs. The current world model is also greatly defining peoples’ world- and self view. In a utopian world, in which everything has a correct order, there are no collisions by the course of events, and everything follows a certain pattern. Individuality is not a key component, since peoples’ behaviour and actions don’t affect the order of the universe. People perceive their surroundings, observe and listen to their environment and accept the order of events. Following this idea of a perfect society, everyone is equal, has the same rights and wants, lives in perfect harmony in a well oiled machine. It’s quite clear that this is neither realistic nor sustainable. Eventually, this will lead to dystopian society, which translates into a series of disturbance and creates irreversible damages.
Concept, performance: Jeanne Lakits, Flóra Boros
premiered at Tanzwerkstatt Europa in Muffathalle in 2019.
additional performances at Kultursommer Wien 2021 and 2022, MUK Theatre and Studio Moliere.

welcome back to 2089!
It has been predicted that in the 2080s some humans will be more non-biological than biological. In our work, we created a parallel universe between our projection of the future and the current reality. Taking traditional cultural rituals as an inspiration and combining it with the notion of non-biological intelligence. Which ultimately unfolds as our own futuristic ritual, which is artificial, technological, and almost post-human. The convergence of our idea of the future; but perceiving it in a manner that it's happening now, and the actual order of events is pivotal to our understanding of the present. And therefore, formulates our vision of the future. As we move forward towards the end of the century, we should ask ourselves: what outlook does our non-biological society have?
Concept, performance: Adela Maharani, Flóra Boros
premiered at Le Studio in 2021.
