The only two actors that have been revealed for the new Vince Gilligan show are Rhea Seehorn and Karolina Wydra. It got me wondering if any other familiar faces will show up.

However, rather than any of the main actors from BCS/BrBa, I think it would be cool if actors who played minor roles in both those series ended up being new, major characters instead. i.e. people like the actors who played Ernie, Bill Oakley and Francesca. I think that would be neat.

Dumb inconsequential things I never got over in Better Call Saul despite just how insignificant they are compared to everything else:

The death of the Suzuki Esteem; she survived so much only to literally be thrown into a ditch

Where the Javelin went; the Javelin is arguably the hottest car in the entire series and it's just GONE, Nacho and Lalo left Albuquerque in the Javelin but they arrived at Lalo's hacienda in a completely different car. What happened to the Javelin, where is it, what did they do to it, we'll never know

Nacho pouring his glass of milk down the sink in s3e9: I know he just got banished by his dad but he not only threw away a whole glass of perfectly good milk, he didn't even wash the glass!! Bro, you were raised by a good man, the least you could do before slinking off balefully into the night is do your dishes smh.

True but that moment is 1) funny, and 2) his much needed Enrichment in a terrible not good horrendous period in his life. He gets to have little a Jimmy Bullying, as a treat; it harkens back to his S1-2 era where he's just a Huge Bitch, and I endorse it 100%.

Meanwhile the milk incident for me is like, why did he do this, I can't defend this. It's such a small thing in an incredibly emotional and heavy scene but somehow it just Gets To Me. Do your own washing-up, boy.

the development of kim and jimmy's relationship in season 5 and 6 is so comically tragic.

significant betrayal of trust leads to a fight that would have ended any other relationship -> we get married instead with the vows that we will finally stop lying to and hiding shit from each other -> this promise is immediately broken like 3 days later in an incident that will leave us both traumatized for life -> the only way we can keep our relationship and our sanity somewhat intact is to pull the meanest prank the world has ever seen on that one guy we hate -> Oh Fuck Shit Oh God Oh No -> divorce world record speedrun

Superman 2025 spoiler

I really REALLY want to talk about the ending scene of Superman (2025) because it's a scene that is so filled with Love that it hurts my heart a little just thinking about it. Also it is such a powerful statement on the identity of Clark Kent (not superman, Clark Kent).

At the beginning of the movie, when superman robot #4 plays the recording of Kal-El's parents, they are dressed in white, standing still and speaking solemnly in a language that Clark doesn't understand. They almost look like statues of deities, and Clark could only decipher from their tone and expression that they must be speaking to him out of love.

At the end of the movie, the recording of Jor-El and Lara are replaced by videos of Pa and Ma Kent, and the videos surround Clark like a warm embrace. We see Ma presenting baby Clark with a bag of gifts almost as tall as he was, we see Pa holding tiny Clark up so he could "fly" as he giggled.

Like Pa Kent said, parents aren't for telling their kids who or what to be, they can only give their kids the tools to learn from their mistakes and grow into better people.

By choosing to use his human parents' videos, Clark chooses to embrace the love and acceptance Ma and Pa Kent have taught him; his Kryptonian parents' love carried him all the way to Earth, and now his human parent's love will carry him into the future.

ALSO it kills me a little that Clark's first experience of flight is Pa Kent holding him up in the air. This alien that could fly at speeds that would put fighter jets to shame first dreams of flying because his Pa, flesh and blood and HUMAN, laid down on the grass and held him up so that a little boy could pretend he's flying. I need to be sedated.
