why are people weird about factives?

it's not like people can control what their source is.

(well for the most part anyway. apparently some systems have created headmates. i don't know how that works but it does happen. ..that's not my point. sorry)

we have one factive. he's a youtuber and streamer. we don't know the irl guy personally, but as far as we know he's a good person.

but even if he was a bad person, how is that any different from being a fictive who is problematic, or a villain or something?

and sometimes it's not about being sourced from a bad person. sometimes people seem to think just being a factive automatically makes you bad.

Fictive culture is not being able to look at your source's fandom anymore.

i don't mean the first fictive. literally the first person that we realized was not the host¹

just remembered the first headmate we realized was a headmate was dave lol

just woke up one day feeling like a different person. thought about it for all of 2 seconds and realized.

"hm. im dave now. weird."

(we found out later we had more headmates before but we didnt realize they were headmates. its a whole thing

our first headmate ever thought the were the same as the host. even though they are completely different people

they figured they just had a confusing, very fluid identity.)

¹we don't really have a typical host. when we say that, we are referring to the original person born in this body (who is most likely dormant.) the mask we put on so no one knows we're a system
