after everything tamlin has been through, he deserves a partner who:

knows the spring court’s ways and traditions, and has respect for them. what she doesn’t know, she’s willing to learn

is patient with him and his healing. someone compatible enough that they can develop a healthy communication style that suits them both

is capable of coaxing tamlin out of his shell and start talking about things

spring court folk love her, because since her coming into the picture, their high lord is confident, powerful and happy again

doesn’t step too much on tamlin’s toes regarding ruling his court. just hear me out; tamlin has a need for control and he also doesn’t like anyone sharing his burdens. he needs the space to carry out his high lord duties without having to worry about her lady getting in harm’s way. i feel like he also wouldn't want to burden her with such things. with that being said, he always turns to her for advice, and consults her about the important things (those that he can share, at least). in other words, someone who knows her place, in a good way

understands tamlin’s love language and his need to be the protector

is just as much a strength to him, as he is to her 💞

So it’s come to my attention that Tamlin gave Feyre then answer to the riddle when he met with her UtM that one time. Looking at it again, it’s not even subtle. Feyre, being Feyre, doesn’t get it right away but Tamlin is sending her a message by making sure she knew love. Tamlin really risked it all trying to spell it out for her. I read ACOTAR twice and missed it. I can’t believe I missed it.

Am I the only one who gets the ick from adult men on TikTok posting videos pretending to be Rhysand, Lucien, Tamlin etc. ??? Most of them are thirst traps that make me gag, the rest are supposedly "funny."
