Harwin knows they could get caught, know this isn't the place to do this but he doesn't care. She had teased him plenty before all of this and that is what lead them to this very moment. What others thought, well, Harwin didn't care because in the end both gave into something they both wanted. Sure he would worry about the implications after, when his mind as clear and not clouded with want and lust for her and her alone. For now, however, that wasn't going to happen. Every thrust into her was almost made to make her louder despite the need to be secretive because, fuck, did he love to hear her moan. A part of him did believe that those outside her office wouldn't say a word, both too afraid to be on her bad side or his. That would be something they found out together. After.
She has taken over almost every aspect of his mind, his life, and he wouldn't want for anything else. It can be seen with how he treats her, the stolen moments, and even now as he makes her feel pleasure after pleasure. That as all he wanted to give her. It's why his hand moves to her throat, why their lips meet again in a desperate kiss. It is one of a hunger and want for the other that is so easily showcased to them in a way only they know. His other hand has fingers digging into her hip as he keeps her close while thrusting in and out but he feels him getting closer and closer to the edge. It's why his movements get harder, faster, chasing for it as he feels her getting just as needy. Gods, what she did to him was unlike anyone else and he wanted to give her everything.
SHE’S TRYING HER BEST to keep quiet. trying to make sure that those on the floor below her office, and those who might be on her own floor don’t hear her. after all, how would it look if they heard their future boss moaning and begging for her bodyguard to fuck her? it wasn’t as if they had told people they were together yet, hell, even if they had she’s pretty sure there is some form of workplace code of conduct that they’re violating. but she can’t bring herself to care too much when he slams into her again and again, a moan escaping her lips on instinct. then again, if they didn’t hear her moan, they might very well hear as the items on her desk tumbled over.
it doesn’t matter though, she wants him, he is the only thing that truly matters to her in that moment, he is what matters always. she has fallen fast and hard for him and in truth didn’t care who knew it. rhaenyra lets out a muffled cry when he grabs her throat, enjoying it more than she should before pulling him close again. her kiss is desperate, rough, but god knows she isn’t going to last long anyway. not with the way he moves, or the way he tastes, hell– she can taste herself on his tongue and it turns her on more. it is almost too much and she keeps him close, wanting to feel every inch of him against her, inside her. the blonde knows she should feel pathetic at how needy he has made her but she doesn’t care.

The uplift in her mood was a good sign, something he had looked for in the given offer to show her around. Maybe if the others saw the son of the master of laws was being open to welcoming her here that maybe others would offer to do the same. It was a silly thought but the hope was there. Of course he knew she would have to change slightly to adapt to court here, he could only hope she didn't change too much. Harwin hadn't needed to change much, but he stayed away from the political dealings and kept himself more involved with the City Watch. Maybe that was why he wasn't so surprised to hear her bring up the training grounds as their place to meet before he gave the proper tour that she seemed to have lacked when first arriving here. "The training grounds it is, my lady." A dip of his head is given in return of her curtsy. "I do believe you'll enjoy the gardens the most, they are rather beautiful."
Mariela’s mood seemed to raise as he agreed to show her the grounds the next day. Perhaps being in King’s Landing will start to be more welcoming to her? Now that she has a new friend. She lifted her head high and smiled wide. “Very well.” She said softly. She went silent once more as she thought of her answer to his question. If she met him at an agreed location within the keep then there is a possibility that she would get lost and miss the time that they have agreed to meet. She would not like to upset and let her new friend down so she thought in more detail in her head. “I shall meet you at the training grounds. I know where that is and it was one of the first things I had come across when I first arrived.” She explained to him. She gave him a small curtsy before smiling back at him. “I believe the meeting is set in motion. I am excited to see what else the grounds have to offer.”

It didn't surprise him to hear her tease, make light of a situation. He knew better by now, at least he liked to think he did. "Don't know, seemed like why not have a normal life." Harwin replied, doing his best to give it back as the sound of bullets ricocheted around them. Her laugh, doesn't go unnoticed and it only reminds him once more why he does love her. Her fearless nature, one that despite what is happening around them, at least that was the mask she put on. That and he knew she was trained fro this the same as he was. There was, at least on his end, that small fear that worried all of their confessing and admitting their feelings for one another would result to nothing in the end if they died here. That wasn't what he wanted and he was more than sure Rhaenyra was on the same page as him. It was why he asked what he did, to have a better understanding of what they were dealing with in order to handle.
Harwin knew the weight her family's mention would bring but that was the possible situation that they found themselves in. It wasn't something he could rule out, knowing that the reason they even met was because of them. However, her family wasn't the only one that knew of him as they had to be told what he was, given the contract to go after him. But he didn't know her family like she did, it's why he asked for clarification as he knew she'd narrow it down. And narrow it down she did, eliminating her uncle from the contention of their attacker. "Great, nice to know they don't give up." He half mumbles as he stays behind cover, knowing he could trust her. His gut told him this, he knew it, and there was no questioning it. And maybe because she was a target too, that it helped. Her sass, however, was not needed and he gave her a look.
"I didn't exactly expect to be attacked tonight. I thought this would be going in an entirely different direction." He's thankful, in the end, that she came more prepared. Taking the other gun from her, he checks it and flicks off the safety while listening to her direction. "Sounds like the best plan to me." Harwin answers, looking over at her before giving a three, two, one signal and popping up to take out one of the targets. As he does so, it seemed the third shooter was waiting and aimed perfectly for his location. He was moving back down to his cover when he felt the impact, the searing hot pain in his left shoulder. The next thing he knew, his body slammed to the floor as he let out a groan in pain. "Fuck." He hisses out, moving closer to his cover as his hand moved to his shoulder.
’ NO? ’ she looks up at him, even in the most serious of situations her amusement is evident. not once, not for just a singular moment could they have peace. it seemed peace was only a possibility when both of them were pretending to be ordinary. when they had fabricated histories and in her case, a fake name that was entirely her own. ’ i thought this was exactly what you meant. what were you thinking? high mortgage rates and an unplanned pregnancy? not really our every day. ’ and despite what happens around them she laughs, the sound ringing out with the gunfire as she keeps her back pressed against the metal she hides behind. to think, just moments ago she had been professing her love for him out in the open, for anyone to hear, and now they were faced with the possibility that her confession may have come a bit too late for them.
when he mentions her family her expression grows serious. no, no it couldn’t be them. her uncle was angry at her, that was true, and she feared what he would do to her, but to hire someone else to do it? no. daemon was dramatic, he liked to have some level of show and theatrics to any kill he made. it was almost like a game for him, one he was uniquely suited to. a barrage of gunfire was beneath him. he would have gotten his hands dirty. he would have enjoyed it. ’ don’t think it’s them. ’ rhaenyra is honest with him, trying her best to keep to the truth with him from then on out. ’ if i had to guess? ’ she peers around the edge of her cover, trying to get a look at where the shots were coming from, violet eyes moving rapidly where she hears the fire coming from. ’ it’s the guy who paid me. two birds one stone…gets rid of you like he wanted, i can’t go after him in retaliation. ’ she is able to count three gunmen.
’ what do you mean you don’t have a gun? what were you planning on doing? inviting them out for a barbeque so we could all talk this over? ’ she does though, one holster is at her hip, the other strapped to her leg. ’ here. there’s three of them. one and two are close by, but…i can’t see the third, but i heard shots that didn’t match up with what i saw. ’ the third would no doubt be their biggest issue, they would have to find another way of seeing him before he saw them. ’ what do you think? take out two, find a new spot to hide then worry about the third? ’

He knew they couldn't keep up the secret for long, eventually it would come out and everyone would know. This wasn't how he had preferred it but a weight was at least taken off their shoulders now that they could be open with their feelings for one another. They could be open in the relationship they both wanted, be more official to the world. However, he knew he was her's and she was his. There was no outside opinion that would change that, they were steady and knew what they were to one another. Still, the no more sneaking was nice. Not to mention they could now move in with one another now and it brought a smile to his face at the thought alone. Besides, it wouldn't be much different than now really so what was the harm? It was something they both wanted so he was more than enthused to accept the offer.
"Don't tell me that, Rhae." He says, giving her a look. "I'm already worried enough." A half chuckle leaving him, trying to play it off but underneath it all he was still worrying more than he wanted to admit. Harwin worked at getting napkins and plates, setting them down on the coffee table in front of them before going back to the kitchen. "Coke with ice coming right up." He says with a small smile as he gets them both a glass and filling them to then return towards the living room. "And here you go." He says, handing it over before sitting down beside her. Leaning forward, Harwin moved to set up a plate for her and then handing it over to place in her lap before getting himself situated. "You have the move all set up?"
She was glad that they both thought the same thing about their future. Even though they had never definitely discussed it, Rhaenyra had always hoped that they would be able to make things official and then take a step into making their relationship permanent. Not necessarily immediately by marriage, but at least by living together. They had been together for years at this point, carefully hidden from her displeased father, so she felt like they had overcome so many hurdles by now that their relationship would survive all other tests of time. So how hard could living together be? Half of Harwin’s stuff was already at her place anyway and now that Syrax had apparently given him a friendship bracelet, everything had already been set into motion.
“I have not eaten in days”, she called after him, pointing out the reason for being so hungry. The Greens had not fed her in captivity for the most part, but whenever food was sparingly offered to her, Nyra had not touched it, because she feared poison. Back at the hospital she had been so wired that she barely noticed her hunger, but now that she was finding rest and relaxation, the churning in the pit of her stomach was more apparent. “I would like a coke with ice please”, she told him sweetly, knowing there were cans in her fridge. Something cold and sugary to drink sounded exactly like what she needed now to balance out the greasy meal they were about to have, mouth watering as the smell of pizza filled the living room.

That got a good chu7ckle out of Harwin. It was almost something he couldn't argue with and so his reaction was partially hidden by the glass in his hand before taking a sip. What added to this whole thing was how pissed off he made the Lannister, which was one reason he couldn't pass up the opportunity. No doubt tomorrow he might get an earful but he didn't care because it was an auction, it was well within his right to participate. They could argue with him all they wanted but facts were facts. They lost and had to deal with it. It wasn't even something that bothered him, it's why he moves on to figure out what they had just agreed to.
"Well, that makes things easy." He replies with a nod as he places his glass down and sits back in his chair. "I'll pick you up so you don't have to worry about that." He waves that off with his hand to show that was nothing. "But I think I've got something figured out." Harwin looks over at her a moment. "You've only done fancy dinners as dates, haven't you?" It seemed to be the logical type of date for someone of her standing. Not that he didn't have money, but she was of a different level than his own family.
"He is as sharp as a tumbeled rock, but he thinks he is a sword" she huffed as she sipped on her own drink, she felt lighter now-- less worried about what would happen if the blond asshat had gotten his hands on her. She would wire Harwin the money he spent after the gala was finished, already making a note in her phone to do so. The meeting tomorrow would be a pain in her ass, but at least he would be by her side to deal with this, she had no doubt it would get ugly once they were confronted with the proof of their betrayel.
Alicent thought for a moment about his queston, her fingers tracing the rim of her glass for a moment. "I'm not, if I am being completly honest, I can find something on any menue to eat" she wasn't picky like she had been in her youth, she had no reason to be now. "You did pay for the date, so I am yours for an evening and plans of your choosing. "Just let me know what to wear and where to be."

His smirk remains, keeping his blue-green gaze on her. "Oh now you're spoiling me." Harwin replies as he turns more to face her. The biker hadn't expected entirely to walk in here and have a date planned but he wasn't about to complain about that. A small shrug follows her words. "If you want then yeah, I can arrange that." His hands are in his pockets as he is now fully facing her, gaze angled downwards. The smirk now shifting to a grin as he hears her solidify their plans for a date, the hand on his chest adding to it all. He was thankful the hoodie and vest did enough to pad his chest so she couldn't feel how fast his heart was beating. "I have no doubt about that." He half mumbles, looking her over. "Seven it is. Uh, as for a hint." A hand lifts to scratch at bearded cheek. "Make sure you can still ride on the back of a motorcycle."
"yeah, you're that special. Though I guess, you're probably the most special out of everyone," she teases, smiling softly at him. She supposed that's why no one really talked to her as much as he does. Which she doesn't mind at all. "I do have someone that can run my shop for me. So I would be up for that if you were serious." She didn't mind having two jobs. Mechanic work was her passion. She loved it and helping people when she could. "Sounds good to me." she chuckled at his grin before reaching out and placing a hand on his chest. "Oh, you'll like my surprise. Trust me. It would be for your eyes only." she winked at him before nodding. "Seven is great. I'll be sure to be ready. Can I have a clue as what we're going to do?"

From what she told him, Harwin knew her first experience was lacking. The older knight only seemingly caring for his own pleasure despite thinking he was doing something. In reality, judging from how she was reacting to his touch, he hadn't done any of the things he assumed he did. Harwin's goal was to worship her body, show her what pleasures she could experience throughout the night. His sole focus was entirely on her and her alone. That was all that mattered. Yes he had feelings for the princess, strong ones, but he also knew his place. He knew he would have to keep those feelings to him and to her. She was married, what they were doing now was against the crown and the gods but how could they deny their attraction to one another? Harwin wasn't going to let it stop him now, a night shared together as they let their bodies intertwine with each other and the sheets.
But he wasn't done with her yet. This was only the beginning, trailing up her body with kisses until he found her lips once more. Harwin couldn't help how badly he wanted her, his eyes darkened with lust as he looked down on her, wanting to hear her answer to his question after the brief, deep kiss. "Good." He says before closing the gap between them again, meeting her lips in a hungry kiss. A chuckle, however, left him as he stayed against her lips. "Yes, princess." He mumbles with a grin as he fully intended to give her everything she wanted and deserved. What he hadn't expected, however, was to feel her hand slide down between them and wrap around his length. A low moan left him at the sensation, the fact the woman he felt strongly towards was beginning to stroke him only added to how turned on he was feeling. On instinct, Harwin can't help but roll his hips into her hand as he wanted that friction. He wanted more. His breath slightly heavy as he pulled slightly away from her lips. "Princess, if you'll let me." He emphasized once more how it was her choice, despite knowing what she wanted from before. And so his own hand moved between them, his hand placed over her's, to begin helping direct him slowly inside her.

Rhaenyra could say with absolute certainty that Ser Criston had not paid that much attention to either her body, or her pleasure. What they had indulged in had been quick and forgettable, except he had not forgotten it and begun to obsess over her. Unlike Harwin’s dedication to the princess, she knew that Cole’s admiration came from a different place, one that longed to possess her and make her his as a trophy. Harwin understood his place and never asked for more than he could have, never demanding for her to give up her life in favor of his own. That alone showed her that what they had was genuine enough to risk this. A night shared in passion, one that did not have to end here. She hoped that this moment of weakness was not going to change the course of their built friendship, but she was already in too deep to care right now.
Whatever Harwin had done to her ended with her question and Rhaenyra was almost sad he moved back up, his lips finding hers to kiss er again. She could see the same kind of lust in his eyes she had seen at the brothels and it satisfied her, knowing he desired her so. “Of course I do”, she replied rather breathlessly, because she had no interest in stopping altogether. The night was still young and the alcohol slowed her blood enough to keep the princess from second guessing anything. There was still music coming from down the hall where the celebration was ongoing and as long as the fiddles didn’t stop playing, no one would be looking for them. “Make me an even more dishonored woman”, she jested, grinning up at Harwin, knowing he would not take it the wrong way. Even though he was a man of loyalty and outstanding morals, he paid no heed to the absurdity of purity forced upon women before marriage. The worshiping of her body had been indicator enough of how he felt for her. One of Rhaenyra’s hands slipped between his legs to feel the hardness of him pressing against her palm, smirking as she rubbed against it.

Harwin hadn't expected the night to turn like this, how her viewing of him would shift in the car ride alone. Not that he was complaining but it was something he needed to process and in doing so, he felt he may have ruined his chance. Internally he was cursing himself, hand lifting to run through his hair before getting out of the car and following her inside. He had to take a few, hidden, deep breaths as he walked behind her into the hallway. His heart was beating a mile a minute as blue-green gaze began to take in his surroundings. Though his eyes fall back onto her at her question, the first part of it making sense until she added a seal. "...What? I mean I love dogs, but where does a seal...." Even as he follows her inside, he wasn't met with what he expected. There was no dog yet. It did keep him distracted enough to remain calm. His brow is furrowed as he continued to follow her inside, the answer to is question is what he begins to hear but does not see until the dog waddles excitedly over to Rhaenyra.
The smile, however, made his heart skip a beat and he can't help but offer one back. "I see what you mean now." He adds, the smile only growing as he watches the two interact. It was adorable, seeing the shift in attitude from the car to now. Plus he could see how much she loved her dog, how close they were. His arms were crossed, weight shifted fro one foot to the other as he stood by with the smile remaining. "You don't need to apologize." Harwin replies with a shrug. "If I had a dog I'd be doing the same thing." He watches her a moment before stepping over towards the bar and leaning a bit over to give Syrax a few pets of his own before standing up straight and letting her having his full attention again. "I suppose some whiskey on the rocks sounds good."
"That is rather strange, I think." Harwin chuckles a bit as he leans on the counter for a moment. "I mean I've seen you in passing more than anything else." His eyes remain on her, moving a bit around to her side with a soft smile as he takes the glass from her. Was this his moment? Maybe he would make up for his mistake in the car. Harwin brought the glass to his lips for a quick sip while his hand moves to her waist, stepping closer as he lowers the glass. Slowly he leans in, to give her a chance to turn him down, but hopes she doesn't as he goes for the kiss.
SHE PAUSES, just for a moment, watching his reaction to the kiss, seeing his gaze fall and expecting that he too will be so bold. that now is the moment he will take his chance and kiss her. he was interested in her, wasn’t he? that’s why he’d joked about his chances minutes before, wasn’t it? so she thought he would take the opportunity and kiss her. but then he nods, and she does well to hide her disappointment as she sits back, knowing that the moment has passed and was wasted. ’ follow me. ’ the words are not mumbled but she does not look at him, though this time it is not her temper that keeps her from doing so but her confusion. exiting the car she waits for him at the door before heading in.
the hallway is quiet, but that’s to be expected when she is the floor’s only occupant. and with the building being owned by her father, it’s not as if there’s much that isn’t to her liking. ’ you like dogs, right? ’ she asks when they reach her door, ’ or…land seals. ’ she knows that when she opens the door rather than run to greet her, her dog will take its time, stretching and extracting itself from whatever piece of furniture she’s claimed before finding the energy to be excited. and just as she expects, when she opens the door, the sight that greets them is calm. an open floorplan, furnished as if it had come straight from a magazine. dark furniture with plush pillows, a large soft rug in the middle of the floor. to the side there is a bar area and a kitchen, and once she takes off her coat, hanging it on the hook that is where she heads. it is only when she’s started to cross the floor that she hears the telltale thump of syrax dropping to the floor.
for the first time that night she glances at harwin with a full smile, before crouching down to greet syrax, her disappointment seemingly forgotten. ’ there she is! ’ the gold-colored pitbull pads her way across the floor, tail wagging and rhaenyra cannot help but fawn over her. at least for a moment before she stands up, remembering that she had distinctly hoped he would not see her as a child and this was not helping. ’ sorry, any preferences for a drink? i’ve got everything. ’ stepping behind the bar she grabs two glasses, already knowing her intended drink. ’ i’d assume but, we haven’t really met before. weird considering our dads spend most of their time together. ’

She could ask for anything and Harwin would be sure to do it. In his mind, she deserved the world. Something he seemed to think for quite some time. Wrapped around her finger as he was, he still knew this was meant to be a secret. Another one they would share aside from the night in her bed. A night that hadn't left his mind since. It was also the night that no doubt solidified her trust in him, a trust that he would never wish to break. It would be held tight, close to his chest. Anything she told him, anything they did, all of it would remain between the two of them. Well, and the moon above that bathed them both in the darkness of the night. It helped show him how she stood, how he needed to correct her at the beginning of their first lesson. There wasn't much he had to do, he noticed. It had to be due to the fact he saw her watch all of the guards train from time to time when not attending a tourney. Harwin found it rather impressive.
There was no point in being rough, she was new to this and what good would that do? She hadn't been trained to hold a sword, not like he had. It was why he was going at a beginner's pace, being gentle, showing her how to stand before moving on to how to move. After all, a fighter was only as good as their stance. If it wasn't rooted strong, the footing off, then they could be easily taken down and dispatched. Not that he had that worry for her, but he wanted to cover all the possible outcomes like he had been taught. A chuckle left him as he moved to his own position. "A lower, shoulder wide position helps you remain balanced and have power. So yes, princess, in this particular lesson you must stand like that." Harwin wasn't one who dealt in finesse so she would learn how he did.
And with that, he stood opposite her and began his movements. It was a slow pace for her, letting her see what he had to do in order to follow along. She was catching it very well in his mind, it bringing a small smile to his lips as he continued to move. Her question even making him chuckle slightly. "I have heard that before, princess. I can see how others would view it as such. "In a way it is, yes. Only more deadly if in certain situations." One he hadn't experienced in exactly, never having seen war or battle himself. And he hoped she never had to in the time of peace they found themselves in. "You are doing very well, might I add."
This whole plot to get Harwin to train her how to fight or defend herself had been in the making for sometime. The knight of choice hadn’t even always been him, but once she learned of the secret halls that went through the keep and found this spot she knew what she wanted to use it for. It was just a matter of time of finding the correct type of person that wouldn’t have objectives to training her and could accept the risk of getting caught if they got caught. The night that they had together only showed her that Harwin seemed almost more than willing to shoulder the risk of being caught with her. At least this time it wouldn’t be anything too compromising.
Rhaenyra wasn’t sure why but she didn’t expect him to be so gentle when it came to adjusting how she held the sword or her stance. It was a nice surprise to be sure, but she had seen how he could be in the training yard and was expecting something more firm. Perhaps that would come later. “Do you always stand so wide?” She questioned because compared to how she usually stood on her own having her feet shoulder width apart to strengthen her stance felt a bit awkward to her. Though you would think it wouldn’t be so awkward considering she was used to sitting on the back of a dragon…
Harwin standing before her as her mirror was something that she could appreciate when it came to learning. She was a very hands on kind of learner preferring doing over the discussion of a topic to get it into her mind so mimicking his movements came easier than if he tried to talk her through it. The way that he moved almost reminded her of dance steps with extra arm movements and she followed each one after the other. It was a different kind of dance of course from what she was used to, but she was always good in her dancing classes. “Has anyone ever compared this to dancing?” She questioned curiously because really they just needed to be going opposite of one another to turn it into one.

This entire night felt like a dream. From winning the title to now actually discussing marriage with Rhae? It didn't seem real, not at first. Everything was perfectly falling into place, something he had obviously hoped for but never expected to happen all at once. Honestly he preferred to shower, wanting to look as best he could for this impromptu wedding of their's. If they were going to show someone one of the happiest days of their lives, then this had to at least look good. As best he can, anyway. He was lucky, however, that the fact hadn't been long and he hadn't taken many hits. Hell, he was sure he hadn't been touched and it seemed meant to be that this happen tonight. To marry her, to start their lives as a family, it was bringing the widest smile to his face.
A chuckle leaves him as he hears her tease, something fully expected as he goes to shower. Harwin makes sure not to take his time, but does what he needs to do to get clean and smell rather nice for her and the ceremony. It was still wild to wrap his mind around what happened, his smile growing as he stood under the warm water. But soon he finishes up and walks out to her again with a towel around his waist. Of course he had an idea that wasn't the best decision considering how they were with one another but his change of clothes were out here with her. Another laugh leaves him as a hand lifts to run through damp hair. "I'm sorry, princess. I can't help that my clothes are out here." Harwin replies with a grin as he makes his way towards her and his things. All the while he's listening to what she has to say. "You definitely would think to do that because I did not." He says with a small smile, his arms wrapping around her in return.
"I don't think I'd want us to have rings with dice on them." His smile is only growing as he looks down at her in his arms. "I had an idea." Harwin can't help but say as he starts to lean in for a kiss, eventually meeting her lips for a deep and loving one. He pulls away after a moment, however, his arms falling as he steps back. "But you're right, I need to get dressed and get moving so we can finally get married!" His voice rises just a bit towards the end, unable to really hide his excitement. He gives one more quick kiss before leaning to the side to get into his bag and grab a change of clothes. Harwin gets dressed as quick as he can, smoothing out the front of his shirt before looking back up at her. "You ready?
SHE CANNOT help herself around him, the excitement, the fluttering of her heart in her chest, he is her best friend and soon-to-be husband. she wants him close, cannot keep her hands to herself despite having told him that he should bathe. in truth she would have married him just as he was in that moment, but she knew it was for the best that they both changed. in a few years when they showed their children the photos from this wedding, she didn’t want to be wearing an oversized jacket or him to be in sweats. children– she finds herself stopping at the thought, yes, children. she is certain she wants at least one, a child with eyes like his father. the thought brings a smile to her lips that she can’t contain. this was the beginning of a happy ending for them, all of their hard work was paying off in this very moment.
’ thank you. and i am sure the officiant will thank you for not stinking up his chapel later! ’ she calls after him as he heads for the shower. normally she would tease him about undressing but for now, she had calls to make. finding stores to remain open for them to shop, but ones that would allow a private entrance and even more privacy while they shopped. not even her assistant would know that this wedding was going to take place, it was for the two of them and them alone. there would be no one else in the world who knew save those they needed to. only when he comes back out does she stop, momentarily stopping her scroll of ‘elopement looks’ on pinterest ( though she finds none of them are what she envisioned ) only to groan at him.
’ we’re going to get stuck in here all night if you don’t get dressed. ’ she teases, though it is only half a joke. she finds herself quite frequently reminded of the fact that he is just as handsome as the night she met him, and that she wants him just as badly as she did then. now is one of those times. ’ i called and got some stores to stay open for us, your suit, my dress can from the same store. then i found a jewelry store that will let us in through the back so that we have rings that won’t have dice on them. ’ standing up she cannot help herself and finds her wrapping her arms around him once more, trying her best to be serious, ’ you look too damn sexy and it is very counterproductive right now, do you know that? ’

UPDATE: Moving
Harwin is moving to my multi, it's just hard to have the muse for him on a solo blog and i've been struggling with him for a bit so it think it will be easier to just move him over there. threads i do have for harwin that i have and owe replies to are in his queue and posting for the next like 10 days but those i haven't gotten yet will be moved over there as well! so if you're interested in interacting with Harwin still and a bunch of other new muses, give @becomelions a follow! as that is where he will be for the foreseeable future.

His position here had only been given when his father was chosen as Master of Laws, Harwin being trained from a young age as a member of the City Watch. Now he stood a captain, in line to be the Lord Commander in time. He had been told, his experience and reputation the reason. His skill and strength laying the foundation for how he rose the ranks in the gold cloaks and his reputation at tourneys. Where he now currently found himself observing his possible opponents as they went back in forth in the match. Though there was no concern, he found, for either as his skill and strength outmatched both. But he never went in overconfident, a lucky strike was all it took at times to change the outcome. All of his he focuses on even with her by his side, though he was able to speak up when spoken to.
Though he is rather surprised to hear her answer. Not that Harwin thought he wasn't deserving of it, but it did seem to be something unexpected. "You speak highly of me without fully knowing me, it is interesting, my lady." Harwin replies with a chuckle, though he knows it is not wrong. He tries to be honorable, his father taught him as such. "But I am glad to be able to give that to you, I suppose." His gaze still focused on the set match until eventually it comes to a close with the younger knight out lasting the more experienced one. It didn't surprise Harwin, experience was important but the sword grows heavier and heavier the longer one fights. The younger had greater stamina, using that to eventually pull out the win. His opponent decided then when the second round eventually commenced.
"He is....something." Harwin mumbles, showing his rather lack of care for the other knight. "That it is, but one that is enjoyable to both watch and participate in." One he would partake in tomorrow. Harwin does the same, a brief moment of applause for the knights before his attention turns to her. "I would not eat if I were to, I full stomach would slow me down in the next round I'm afraid." He fully turns to face her with his hand resting on the pommel of his sword. "Apologies for that, my lady."

The longer she spends in the company of Ser Harwin, the more Thera wants to know of him. What was it, exactly, that had drawn he and his family from the Riverlands? Or … driven them, as some less fortunate situations might do? Does he miss it, does he think he’ll return? Her own loyalty to kith and kin holds her to home at Raventree, where sometimes sword and bow are required in earnest - usually against the Brackens, though now and then they hear whispers of something more. Perhaps that’s another reason House Blackwood is attending the tourney, to see, to hear, and to taste the political air.
For the moment, though … that’s secondary, settled from her thoughts. For the moment she’s here with Harwin, as fine a recommendation for Kings Landing as might be found, and the events are underway.
Hesitation follows his question, then a chuckle, feeling herself a bit foolish for having made the remark out loud. “Because you remind me that the rivers spit forth good people sometimes, as well as … the rest of us. I can’t count the true proportions, but it’s heartening to know.” She falls silent once again as the bout commences, allowing him to concentrate as he needs - and herself as well, though perhaps more for the second-hand adrenaline of the scene.
“Then he’s possibly more in control of himself than I can be!” She would barely know Cristen Cole by sight if they happened to meet, but his name had definitely reached her ears. “The joust is a whole other set of skills - dangerous, too, from what I’ve heard.” She paused long enough to applaud the knights as they left the ring before looking to Harwin again. “I’m starting to have thoughts about lunch … would you like to join me?”
