Diet Weekend Review
Friday: Used a work celebration for my husband as an excuse to eat way too much. Also didn’t stick to my guns about no drinking until the cruise in April.
Saturday: Did good at lunch then blew it on snacks, fast food dinner, ice cream, and again blew my no drinking pact.
Sunday: Did fair at lunch and then blew it at the movie when I drank a beer, then at dinner where I had a double cheese burger and fries and a beer, and blew it after dinner on cookies.
Summary: Don’t allow yourself to find excuses to cheat on your diet. Food is fuel to keep the body alive and alcohol is empty calories that need to be set aside until I have a waistline that can support a few empty calories. Also, when eating in a group don't care about how what you order will look like to your friends. There is no shame in grilled chicken.

Weekend Review
Friday: When going to an expensive restaurant it is always best to keep track of what the total will be before actually getting the check. A shock at the end of the meal can really ruin the remainder of the evening. Saturday: I miss having a best friend and it is causing me issues with my current friends. For basically all my life I had a very good friend, but we have totally fallen out of touch in the past many years. I try to hold my other friends up to a "best friend" level and that isn't realistic. To make issues worse, within my circle of friends there are some best friends. Sunday: Attitude. Attitude. Attitude. Kevin and I worked on preparing for a contractor to visit the house, I wasn't in any kind of mood for this and selfishly I didn't put forth much effort to try and make it an enjoyable experience for the two of us. Part of being in a relationship is putting aside ones self and thinking about the other. I didn't do that and I should have. Summary: Be more careful eating out, love the friends you have for exactly who they are and remember that being married is about sometimes being selfless.

I ended the year up a few pounds from before Christmas break started, but I'm not too upset about it. Focused on making it to my goal by 4/13/14.
