This artwork concludes the "Canvas to unwrap" project: https://artbrushray.github.io/unwrap-art/ Art took a path from pixel to UV unwrap for 3d mesh. Like the previous "Polygonal Mesh" this artwork is not entirely painting. While being a painted picture this is also a 3-dimensional object which represents cube unwrap and could be assembled in one. This artwork is a certain stage fine art has reached with all the modern technologies, including the fact that many artists paint to make a texture which further would become a part of 3D objects in games, movies and just individual artworks.

Minimal requirements to be 3D. While basically being a paintings this is more like an art object, a minimal 3D primitive. Each canvas represents a coordinate plane of three-dimensional space and how this represented in modern 3D editing software. This object is a transition between fine art and sculpture, and from traditional fine art to digital. This art object is also a small tribute to Alexander Rodchenko, his famous triptych "Smooth Color". This art work is not the triptych itself, but rather a start point I was leaning on exploring a certain idea. The idea where fine art doesn't end in certain style, conditions or point of time. In this case fine art holds it's relevance in time of Graphic tablets, VR glasses and digital art programs. This is the red thread which goes thru the series of the artworks under my project "Canvas to unwrap".

Manipulation with photo and raster images are impossible to imagine without layers concept. This artwork is a deconstruction of the concept with traditional medial through prism of suprematism ideas.

Hey everybody! I keep sharing chaos space marines. Prominent figure this time - Kharn. Don't have much to say, this guy is pretty self-explanatory. I see him as grotesque and exaggerated character, that is what I was trying to reflect.

Hey everyone! In collaboration with https://www.instagram.com/engineer_red_/ I've painted this beautiful entity called Deyu. Deyu is the elditch thing which represents order and structure. Due has a robotic nature, he is cold efficient logic detached from emotion. So his form is more like a construct. His body is a smooth white marble with cracks of amber energy running through it. Sections of his body are detached at the joints and held together by the amber energy anchoring them together.

Hey everybody! Halloween - time for spooky things! In collaboration with Wolfram the Regulator (https://www.instagram.com/wolframtheregulator/) I illustrated the miniature. Here is a brief story behind the illustration from Wolfram: Ulceros and the VIIth Host: A parasitic warp entity currently feasting on the psykic potential of its seventh host, Ulceros has been with the warband for millennia. It functions as a punishment for astartes who showed any degree of free will resulting in disobedience to the Magos Biologis. Like a battery, the host fuels the captured entity whose screams strengthen the resolve, and obedience, of surrounding brothers. Mortals who are not attuned to its psykic frequencies will feel themselves beset by dread and unease. This mental weakening of outsiders can begin to manifest unsettling physical side effects as they get closer to the source. Nausea, fatigue, confusion, vomiting, diarrhea, and even seizures have been witnessed in attempts to destroy it. This fiend has been sighted on the Carrion Mercatus using its tentacles to transport refuse and limbs ready for transplantation. As the parasite cycles through new hosts, each one leaves a fragment of their consciousness behind in it, a final echo of all they were before being controlled by their festering ulcer.
