See, I've been quietly waiting for this most recent ep of delicious in dungeon to drop, because I've been hearing about people calling it silly fluff without a real plot and a simple cosy anime...

And it's been very amusing, because the closest thing to tone to Delicious in Dungeon that I've read is actually Full Metal Alchemist. Not only in terms of quality and completeness of arc and story, but also in terms of tone.

It's a masterpiece, but you need to have the stomach for it.
