uhhhhh new art ig ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

If you're new here, hi my name is Marz; but you can also call me Bug! Here's a basic rundown on me and the kind of art that I make for a refresh since I haven't been on here in a little bit.

I make digital art; primarily fan art or original art and occasionally character art based on my own OCS, (although it's been a while since I've made any ), and I am an almost college student (I say that because I haven't actually enrolled yet, but plan to soon ), and I love making art that represents marginalized communities and my passions and interests at the moment.

The fandoms that I'm currently involved in include Lore Olympus, Steven Universe and Stardew Valley, and back last year I was a very avid Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss fan ( which I may or may not get back into ), but I would like to think that that's been made clear by the post that I've made on here so far.

I am a GNC ( gender fluid to be specific ) lesbian artist based out of North Carolina, and I have a pretty sporadic posting schedule. My art ranges from unfinished sketches to fully rendered pieces I want to get a BFA in Fine Arts, Concentration in Animation, w/a minor in art history.

Anyways I wanted to reintroduce myself on here and give a quick introduction to who I am/theart behind the work that you see here, if you would like to see more of my art my Instagram handle is bug.bite.draws_

Ok but let’s be serious about Blitzø’s argument in this scene real quick.

He mentions how Stolas just sprung this on him and barely gives him anytime to react, he asks for time to think. Stolas ignores that (NOT BC HES A DICK) because they have different focuses here.

Stolas wanted to have a relationship, everything that involves it. He never once mentions sex. He’s serious and expresses himself to the best of his ability. AND STILL Blitzø assumes its role play, that he’s not genuine (NOT BC HES A DICK) because before this moment he had no tangible reason to think Stolas was serious about a relationship, about him.

Stolas sees this as “I’ve fucked up so fucking bad. This can’t happen because there’s nothing meaningful to build off of. While Blitzø is out here just confused as fuck. When he thinks he finally gets it he assumes “Stolas is mad about me assuming this was a sex thing. What the fuck. Fuck this guy”

It takes Stolas being irreparably heartbroken at how Blitzø views him and how he has treated him. It takes those tears and that goodbye for it to TRULY register.

Then Blitzø immediately panics and tries to apologise, even tries to REACH OUT in order to not be pushed away. Too bad Stolas has fucking magic powers.

He ends up outside. Sad. Confused. And with the portal echoing his unfinished words back to him.

Proximity to you was the only thing that brought him back to himself after a series of bad relationships. Being around you gave him hope that there might be a chance that he could fall in love.

HE LOVES YOU but he can’t fathom proper intimacy (being loved and accepted for who he is) with you, even if he craves it. He only lashed out because he didn’t want to lose you.

OKAY OKAY OKAY SOOOOO

Who would be interested in seeing me redesign Hazbin characters in my own interpretation?

So I just discovered Angel Dust is based on a Jumping Spider. Now if you look up a picture of a Jumping Spider, you'll see that it contains a lot of brown, black and beige tones. However, Angel is very pink and white and very effeminate. Which is not a bad thing at all, it makes sense given that he is a sex worker and oftentimes pink represents love, femininity, and kindness, which I believe is both a nod to his personality, and also to what he craves as a character, which ultimately in the end is acceptance and kindness (and of course obviously redemption ) and to escape from the awful life that he's living now.

But in the same breath there is a pink and white spider, known by the name Misumena Vatia aka the Golden Rod Crab Spider. And they have a variety in colors all still having a pattern of white mixed in and it ranges from pale green to yellow.

SO WHAT IF what if Angels' color scheme changed a little bit and what if different colors correspond with different abilities from both spiders plus his existing character traits ???

Anyway just a thought.

Human angel ! My version.

I tried to make him more Italian looking ?? And tried to reference the time period he comes from more.

HEADCANNONS:

-he accidentally bleached his hair because he didn't know what the chemical was

- he has heterochromia in place of the one black eye

- his hair is usually slicked back ( as was common for men in the 40's ), but it puffs out when he washes it/when he sleeps

-he refuses to tie his tie ( totally not because he doesn't know how )

-i gave him a heart earring that I would imagine he stole from his mother's collection. His suit is pink to hint at his flamboyance which was highly looked down upon.

But yeah ! Hope y'all like it, human husk is next 💪
