“Oh hey Liam! What’s up!?”

Usually, Naoko would sleep the day away..however he did always stir when his beloved partner got up for the day. Even then, he remained listening to make sure they were doing okay, and the other was taking long enough to be worrying. So worrying in fact, he yawns getting up from bed going to check on them.

He looks over curious what they were checking the scale for as he takes a small look at it. How underweight they was..was concerning and he did take notice rather quickly with the others next words catching his mind.

“A diet? That’s..stupid. You’re under the weight you should be.”

It wasn't unusual for Amai to take a hot minute getting ready. They had their own routines to make sure that they were always as cute as possible, but this time, they were taking longer than usual.

Staring down at the scale, there was a pout on their face as they look at the numbers. Even if they were still rather underweight, the added 5 lbs was still a worry for them. Sure they were eating and resting regularly rather than subsisting on snacks and naps, but they didn't think it would be this bad.

"Hm... maybe Amai should go on a diet..."

How tall the other was..expecially when compared to her, was somewhat intimidating. Someone being taller and stronger than her was extremely common, but the other seemed like he was towering over her. However, her curiosity kept her watching and hearing him makes her more curious.

She blinks before smiling softly bowing politely in return. She seems happier that she has been given permission to watch..and hearing his desire to hear her name makes her nod. “Of course. My name is Kaori Takushi. Pleasure to meet you, knight.”

While Tsubasa had learned by now that neither gender nor stature determined the makings of a warrior, he could see that she was the peaceful type... and even if he towered over most people... he was a little surprised to meet someone as tiny as she was. It almost made him cautious to get too close, afraid he'd hurt her somehow.

For now, though, he merely bows politely, giving her a bright smile. "Verily gentle maiden. I shall hence proceed... yet... may I beseech the for thy name, since thy dost wish to gaze upon mine endeavors?"

Once the news of a knight at hopes peak reached her..Kaori couldn’t help her own curiosity as she goes do take a quick look..and seeing him only got her more intrigued..and maybe slightly intimidated by how tall he was. He really did look like a knight from the fairytales she often read..she couldn’t help watching before her eyes widen once spotted.

She takes a look and immediately knows she..isn’t the training type..so she gives a small smile before shaking her head as she bows as a way of thanks for the offer.

Even with Hope’s Peak students as essentric as they were, a tall man in full armor weilding a long sword and swinging it in front of training dummies was sure to catch anyone's attention. As he was about to start practice, he pauses for a second hearing someone close.

"Hail, 'tis a most fine day for training, is it not. Wouldst thou care to join? I believe I can procure a spare blade for you to wield."

“Hm? Oh yes yes, sir! That is me! Cotton Candy’s perfect partner!”

Maikeru beams figuring that the other had to be Amai’s uncle that Amai had mentioned! He was fully confident as he smiles brightly at him, at first beaming just happy to meet the other!! Though that was going to quickly change.

He soon blinks staring at him quietly as while he is still smiling, it’s firstly faltered. “Oh..? A-an accident!? Hospital!? Oh of course! Maikeru will care for them right away!”

"Hey, you're Amai's partner right? They didn't give me the wrong number by mistake?"

Yuuya very rarely called his "nephew's" partners. The bartender preferred a more hands off approach when it came to caring for Amai, though right now, he had to take a slightly more active role than usual with the news that he just got.

"Yeah... you're going to want to run down to the hospital. They got into a little accident. I think they're fine, but they need someone to pick them up, and I'm a bit busy. Would you mind doing it?"

“Well that makes sense. The seasons are always changing..a shame. Venus prefers the cold..” he mumbles that last part with his husky in mind. “Whatever..if you wanna go to an ice rink than be my guest..”

"Aw, man, looks like it's getting warmer, but who cares! Just means that the ice rinks will be even more of a great place to spend all my time at, right?!"

Even if the other was rough around the edges..it didn’t bother him in the least. In fact, he respected the others sharper tongue wishing he could stand up for himself like that..it was refreshing.

“Oh…I see…I’m sorry for making you sad with my pathetic life..it makes me happy that you’re doing anything for me at all though..thank you..” he smiles softly..he wasn’t stupid. He knew how the other was, but felt it was best to just go along with this.

“I promise..I wouldn’t ever mess up such a kind gift from you..I will make sure only to clean it when necessary and take your advice with doing so. Thank you..” he hears a little of the mumbling which makes him even happier

Now, Naosuke was good at textiles. That wasn't a surprise for someone called the ultimate tailor, but cooking? He was hopeless at that, so instead of getting Tadao some homemade chocolates or other sweets, he made him something simple, a pillow embroidered with a design that he'd seen Tadao do a lot recently.

"Here... y-you looked like you needed something new for your room. Pillows you have now are shit looking."

In other words, he just wanted to give him a cute pillow, but Naosuke just wasn't the type to just admit that still.

Honestly the fact the other would be giving him anything would be a surprise. Being as forgotten by almost everyone around him left Valentine’s Day being a..very lonely holiday in general. Though he wanted to change that here..but unfortunately this was also a busy time with so many people coming in to get nails done. He does have something for the other..but that would have to be given later.

He takes the pillow blinking in shock as he examines it like he had never received anything before: after a moment he smiles letting out a small, shy laugh at his words.

“W-wait..you really made this for me..? Are you sure..? Even if my pillows are bad..I don’t deserve such a gift..I..thank you…”

“Maybe I haven’t..but I have good intuition on whatever you make, honey.”

He gives the other a playful wink as he goes to try a bite of what the other made. He takes a moment before smiling at the taste, he never had a high standard when it came to food anyway, but the others was certainly his favorite already. …just had to make sure Maikeru didn’t mind out.

“These taste great. Thank you so much.”

Naturally, Mei was going to be nervous. This was her first Valentine's with someone to spend it with, and she was blushing deeply as she held out the box of homemade truffles to her boyfriend.

"Here... it's my first time making these, so if they're bad, I don't want to hear it..."

While Takumi rather die than show it..even he felt slightly nervous about spending the holiday with someone. Yes he was a flirt..but actually being in a relationship with someone was a whole other thing. Despite that, he would greet the other casually as he blinks in surprise.

“Aw these are for me..? ..Thank you though I don’t want to hear you say that. Anything made by you are bound to be perfect..”

“Aw…you truly know how to charm a beautiful girl like me, huh? How very sweet of you. However, I wish to do this myself. I would love to give you some extra payment.” She didn’t know quite how the others services worked..but she did worry about a possibility like that so this was more than alright with her.

“Hm..well if you insist. How very sweet of you, darling. A cute cafe sounds lovely, let us to off. I wish to know about you:”

Hayami couldn’t help smiling about the others surprise. While she couldn’t date often due to her job, she could understand the struggles of wanting to be with another girl for awhile. Plus..the other was quite beautiful. How could she not offer?

“Hm, I understand that rather well…aw your sweet. I knew I made a good choice to offer.” She hums as she waits for an answer. Even if the other did decline..she would accept that answer even if it would be upsetting. “Oh? Are you certain? I have the money to pay, but very well.”

This was more than alright with her. The fact the other was thinking about her enough to buy her something already made her happy and increases her love for the other. She nods understanding this as she goes to gently kiss her lovers cheek.

“Anything for you, my dearest dark rose…”

"My dearest, may I have a word."

Haruka wouldn't be surprised if Yukino found Valentine's to be a completely frivolous holiday without a real reason for existing, but that didn't mean that she didn't want to give her a gift for the occasion. She never got to spend the holiday with anyone before, after all.

"Here, I believe these should be to your tastes, aesthetically, if not palette wise..."

“Hm..? Oh. You don’t even have to ask.”

The other was…completely right! Valentine’s Day was never her thing. It was too..lovey dovey and bright for her. Plus..the holiday for the most part seemed utterly pointless. However that didn’t mean she would turn down such a kind gift from the other.

“Oh..what a thoughtful gift..you are right. These are quite to my taste. Thank you very much..I have a gift for you as well.”

As much as he hated to admit it…overworking in his manner was extremely common for him. He wished they didn’t share this commonality..but perhaps they can work on it. Though for now that wasn’t important as he watches the others expression hoping he would like what he bought him.

He laughs nervously avoiding the others gaze. “W-well..I wanted to..n-nothing wrong with that!”

Knocking on his boyfriend's door, Reiichi sighs a bit as he tightens his grip on the bag in his hand. He shouldn't be getting nervous when visiting Akihito. The mangaka was always way more nervous than he could ever be, but he couldn't help it. It was his first Valentine's with his boyfriend, after all.

When the mangaka answers, he blushes a bit as he holds out the bag of snacks for him. "Here, figured that you'd like this for valentines. Should be something that you can eat while you work."

Akihito groans as he just barely starts to wake up from working on his manga all day before hand. Typical for him. That just meant he walks over to open the door without worrying who it could be for once.. though seeing the other makes him stop and blink in surprise.

“Oh..Reiichi..hello..” his surprise only increases as the other hands him the bag and hears their words. He immediately goes to grab his phone to check the date with a gasp. “It’s Valentine’s Day!? Already!? Wait..gah your here!”

Suddenly he slams the door..it takes him a few moments to open the door once more and hands the other a bag of his own. “H-happy..Happy Valentine’s Day!”

“Yeah..people can be really scary. Isn’t all sunshine and rainbows despite how people would want it to be. But if you wanna know I guess I can tell you..”

He doesn’t quite realize the other watching him, but does nod as he starts to elaborate on what he was researching..in..gruesome detail as he was used to explaining..

He pauses once someone comes by turning to them.

“Tsk. This one dumbass I’m reading about..some crime that happened overseas. Some loser killed his entire family for some bullshit reason..good thing they are in jail to never see the light again huh?”

He wasn’t exactly used to talking about this in public rather than online so he kept it..mostly vague when talking to the other.

The smile the other gave them was..very cute and warmed their chest to see. However; that smile wasn’t fooling either of them and the fact that it was forced made them even more concerned. They were determined to stay with the other and help with whatever possible if there was something wrong.

Speaking off..the others boyfriend was someone they were certainly not fond off. Hearing their next words about a fight definitely upsets them both even further. “A battle has comenced.. ? Tsk..how pathetic for one to start meaningless battles with you!” Gundham scoffs as Raijin quickly nods. “Yeah! I’m so sorry!!”

Both of them knew the other well enough to know that..the other always was so loving in general. With their partner..and friends like themselves of course. Someone hurting them like this..they couldn’t understand.

Gundham and Raijin look at each other as they nod without hesitation. “Of course! You’re always open to be with us!”

Despite Raijin and Gundham swearing by being rivals..it was certainly clear by watching them relax that they really were close with one another. One thing they did have in common was enjoying the confectioners company. Them all hanging out together always was fun.

However..there was another thing they could agree on. Neither of them trusted Yukihito. No matter how kind they treated the other in public, there was something about them that bothered them greatly. Gundham was a lot more outspoken about it while Raijin kept his dislike to himself. For now though, Raijin was alone as he turns to see the other.

“Ah! Amai! How are you-..” he pauses. “Amai? What’s wrong? Course I have a minute!”

Raijin immediately gave the other a concerned expression wondering what this could be about..meanwhile Gundham finally finishes whatever he was doing to meet the two of them as he similarly grows concerned right after.

“Ruler of Patisserie? I have sensed distress..inform us of what is the matter.”

He pauses before nodding. “Yeah yeah..so I’ll believe on that I promise. Though..if you do have worries..open up to me about them. Can manage them while you work? Alright. Afterward though..come to me. I’m always willing to hear you out to.” Naturally he knew that and while he couldn’t magically solve her problems..he would always listen.

“I like to keep things fair ya know. Heh, well if you’re sure about that than I’ll believe you.” The fact the other did have so many people to worry about concerned him further even if he was largely the same. He tried looking after a whole community and stole for them so he could understand ultimately..

He was relieved to see the other being so careful with the notes seeing how some people treated notes which did indeed upset him. Though he trusted the other with his already as he nods. “Yeah..guess it can be beneficial for that reason..I see that’s good.”

His notes were…incredibly detailed showing just how passionate he was about this despite his lazy personality. While he wasn’t a sociable guy..sharing notes with someone was..interesting and he was enjoying the new information.

Naoko watches curiously and takes the notes giving them a quick look to make sure they are accurate. He afterward nods getting his own notes to hand to the other. “Yeah looking this through with other researchers sounds a lot more worthwhile.”

Naoko could relate as neither did he. Most people didn’t like him anyway and so didn’t want to hear his historical ramblings. He has Chiyo, but she was a kid so it made sense why she wouldn’t want to listen to that. It was unfortunate, but he was content with it seeing his knowledge as enough.

“I see..even then these notes look interesting and appear to be truthful..how interesting..you have pointed out things I haven’t seen yet.”
