I've been pretty quiet on here, but that doesn't mean I've stopped simming! First up I'd like to say thanks (and sorry!) to all the lovely people who've sent me messages :) I'm gonna try my best to reply to everyone asap!

For christmas I wanted to share something special - so here is the public release of the first version of my Decorating Tools mod (or S3DT)

Quick Description - This mod adds hotkeys to the game to allow you to move objects up/down, left/right and rotate in all directions, similar to T.O.O.L for TS4 PDF Guide included below!

To my wonderful patrons - thank you for your support <3 I feel bad that real life has gotten in the way of me delivering more content to you all, so I'll likely be closing it soon! MOD INSTRUCTIONS AND DOWNLOAD BELOW THE CUT

This version is compatible with icarusallsorts' Transmogrifier Mod, and until I can figure out how to script it better, my mod actually REQUIRES it in order for them to be compatible together.

*** EDIT - For some, you might need to use CTRL + SHIFT + Click to bring up object menus! ***

If you would like a version that does not require the Transmogrifier (but is therefore incompatible) send me a message!

FUTURE PLANS: - Adapting movement depending on camera direction - Adding a UI interface for interactions and manual rotations etc. - Scaling interactions with hotkeys

Hello all!! Yes, I know that everyone is playing with infants right now and probably doesn’t want to see anything else, but I still want to share what I created with you. In the poll I recently made on Patreon, the artist’s room concept came first and I can say this set has become as complicated as an artist’s mind 𖦹 In order to share this month, I had to cancel some of the big items, make more clutter and use some ea meshes. Now this is done, I’m going to update all my mods/cc so I can play the game and eventually do small cc requests. I haven’t even played with infants yet :S I want to make cc for them and the babies so badly, maybe this can be the next concept. Welcome to the bathroom of your favorite aunt, Vera! 🛁

I've been very inspired by the reference I took for the Domaine du Clos bathtub, and I wanted to explore more on this reference! So, here I come with the entire plumbing collection, with a few clutter items to furnish this bathroom with a total of 43 new items! 

Also, there are two different bathrobes, one working like clothes from Dream Home Decorator, which you have to snap on the mounted hook, and one that is founctionnal and that you can place where you want to decor the walls! 

The rugs patch have different shapes, so if you want to match the flooring tiles, make sure to look at the orientation of the tiles and select the good rug patch, they don't work in all orientation 😉.

You can find the items by searching for Auntie Vera or Pierisim in game.

Some items share the same textures so make sure to have the packages finishing by "texture" in your mod folder :)

Traits Project (Part 3-35) - Romance And Shyness

For most of the romantic interactions, there are different animations depending on the Sim’s personality. With this mod, traits are taking into consideration, so Sims with the Shy trait will have the shy version of some romantic animations while Sims with the Party Animal or Social Butterfly trait will have the outgoing version, regardless of their personality. Of course, if they don’t have any of these traits, their personality will be taken into account like in an unmodded game.

Required EPs: Nightlife or later

Known conflicts: Any mod that affects the outcome of certain romantic interactions, such as romancemod or Romantic Standards. romancemod is fine as long as the trait mod files loads after. It is not compatible with Romantic Standards though (unless you agree that some features from RS for some interactions won’t be there).

Alien Experiments Expanded: Ask Before Pollinating Edition

So, anyone remember my Alien Experiments Expanded mod from a while back? Well, I’ve done a litle more editing, including fixing a few supernatural overlay bugs, making elder pregnancies actually stick, and incorporating the Aliens Ask About Pollination mod by @episims into my version. The pollination dialog can be disabled or enabled via the “Misc Flags” BCON.

As part of my current “Operation Squeamish Ace” project, in other words getting all mods related to romance and woohoo out of my Downloads folder, I also edited the experiment probabilities and Misc Flags again for my personal use, so you’ll probably want to tune those.

Finally, credit goes to @episims, @midgethetree and BoilingOil for the assorted bits of code I mashed up. Epi, ironically I forgot to ask before incorporating your mod - if you have any objections, do let me know and I’ll remove this download.

If the anon who asked me about tombstone defaults back in September is seeing this, I have some good news for you! I shared these as a part of Twelve Days of GoSmas event as GoS, and you all should definitely head there to see all the other goodies shared by talented creators because there sure are many. 

This DR replaces all the Maxis tombstones with TS3 ones, but instead of original plaques (that showed the cause of death in TS3) they have plaques that present the aspiration of the deceased sim. I used these beautiful 3t2 conversions by @shastakiss with the following logic:

The moderate tombstone (stone) is replaced with base_gravestone_poor

Most aspiration tombstones (marble/gold) are replaced with  base_gravestone

Fortune sims who die with their aspiration bar above gold will get base_gravestone_wealthy mesh instead (this way the whole graveyard doesn’t get filled with obelisks but some wealthy sims will still get them)

While working with these I had an idea that it would be really cool to have moderate tombstones use aspiration plaques as well, and I was very fortunate that @midgethetree agreed to help me with that! So with this default replacement, all sims will get an aspiration plaque, but those sims who die with their aspiration bar above gold will end up with fancier tombstones. 

A couple more things you should know before using these:

If you zoom very close to tombstones in the neighborhood view you’ll notice that the plaques will appear empty

Without fixed templates, in certain premade neighborhoods some Maxis graves will have empty plaques in the lot view as well

If after moving a grave to another lot you notice that the shadow looks a bit funny and/or the mesh is facing to the wrong direction, just move the tombstone indoors (so that it turns to an urn) and back to fix it

The plaques on moderate tombstones have mirrored aspiration icons 

There are two package files included with the download and you absolutely need both for these to work. The other is a mesh and texture replacement by me, and the other is a mod that enables the aspiration plaques for moderate tombstones by Midge the Tree (thank you so much for letting me share it!). If anyone’s curious, these actually have a lot lower polycounts than the Maxis tombstones do, so no need to worry about that.

Download (SFS) - files are compressed and previews included. Nightlife is probably required. Please remember to remove any tombstone defaults you already have in your game before putting these in. 

Credits: Shasta for the 3t2 conversions and permission to use those, and kindly providing some additional help with one very persistent ground shadow. Midge for very unselfishly making the aspiration plaques for moderate tombstones possible and patiently fixing all the problems I found regarding them. @eddysims​ for the HQ icon pack I used for creating most of the aspiration plaques. 

Edit: Now there are defaults available for the urns as well, here!
