we have a communal building in the middle of our property for laundry and big kitchen projects and dinner parties and an incrediblel library of tools and books and hard drives full of movies and TV shows and music

if you want to take a hard drive home and dump the whole thing on your computer you can

if you want to borrow a stack of books and a lawnmower you can

there is a big library in the middle of our property

and sometimes we dance and sing and feed each other peach preserves and tomato chutney off spoons in there

sometimes we all stay in our little houses and yurts and caravans and structures for days and don't have to be social

sometimes we are all in the garden working

"Wholecloth" in this case means that she started with one piece of mottled teal fabric and all color and definition in the finished piece comes from thread quilted atop.
