she’s still ill and dying. despite her condition miraculously improving on its down, there’s no escape. the whole discovery had magpie excited at first, though it’s worn off- and it certainly shows.  but the sight of familiar dragonflies is at least enough to make the tears slow; and her hands slowly rise to rub them away. ❝ we’ll never get there at this rate. . ❞

                   the vengess king allows a few iridescent dragonflies sputter from his fingertips as he approaches the child he haunts. he twirls his index finger idly, one of the apparitions landing gently on her nose as he smiles beneath his mask of bone.

All the new info from the latest livestream:

the saltiest character in the comic is gil (i do not know if this was a pun about sea having salty water, anyway it’s genius)

odin’s sexuality is still a mystery 

michelle couldn’t say if gil was really alone for all those years during his studies (oooooOOOOOOOOHHHH sPOILErs)

hosts all have different weapons (after taking the vial, I presume), based on what they choose them to be (for example, ava’s was the key wrathia gave her)

gil will not be treated badly because of his sexuality (yes good)

we will have to see if ava’s mind will remain the same after the vial effect ends (mMMMMmmHHhhh)

there won’t be hosts shorter than ava 

there probably won’t be characters taller than gil

ava is going to keep the horns when she transforms back

we’ll have to wait to see if gev was lying to gil about not knowing him because he didn’t like him, or because he sincerely didn’t remember him

michelle started working on the odin pic, but had to stop working on it because of kickstarter stuff. here is the wip she showed us:
