Trusts him‚ even.#When things get too hard for Anakin to stomach— Vader offers them to trade places. Vader will live Anakin's life‚ shoulder it.#Anakin doesn't quite understand it's a one way ticket‚ and that when he said yes— he gave away the agency of his body‚ forever.#Now‚ Vader has a list of wrongdoers to get even with. Every single person who had ever hurt Anakin. I See You by Missio often came to mind while working through the variants of this art. It was always the intent to make this piece about Anakin surviving the war, about him no longer being the bright, radiant boy that he once was. It was about being seen, with all the dirt and the soil and the scars that are slow to heal— and still be deemed beautiful. This is a glimpse into eyes that love.

#It took countless of hours to make the various pieces of this art‚ discarding them felt like a waste. Obi-Wan is a noble of a high born family, shrewd, smart, and enjoys good fashion. When the time comes to overthrow the Targaryen rule and kill off anyone who had the Valyrian blood-- he doesn't feel like it fit with his aesthetic. Instead of killing Anakin, he ships him off, and he himself is shipped off to the wall. That is until Anakin is back.
