Nesryn smiles as she brings a hand to Atem's cheek. "Silly Pharaoh, of course I will. I always will." Atem holds back a quiet sob and gently places a hand on Nesryn's arm, allowing a single tear to slide down his cheek.

"I love you, Nesryn," he whispers. The two share a sweet moment as they finally remember what they truly mean to each other.

Anyway, this is the moment Nesryn and Atem regain the memories from their past life and realize the feelings they held for each other for so long. I was inspired by the last track of the Ithica Saga that was released on Christmas. It's such a beautiful song and I thought it would back a really cute scene for these two 🥹 The backgrounds are screenshots from Genshin Impact because backgrounds are hard and I liked the scenery from this particular area in the game.

Personality:

Quiet and Shy, but extremely knowledgeable in science and history. Usually shys away from conflict but will step in if she feels it's necessary. She isn't very confident in herself and constantly second guesses her every move. Has a high interest in ancient and magical studies.

Base Story:

Nesryn, also goes by Nes, moved to Domino from the states shortly after beginning high school. She usually sits alone and spends much of her quiet free time in room corners or in the library, but is soon brought in to Yugi's friend group after he spots her all by herself in class. She isn't much of a duelist, but enjoys looking at the card art and is fascinated by the story behind some of them.

She joins Yugi and his friends on many of their adventures, lending a hand wherever she can. Despite not enjoying being involved in serious conflict, she offers quite a bit of assistance to the group. She can't help but feel a mysterious pull towards the nameless Pharaoh...

Personality:

Quiet and Shy, but becomes more bubbly when she's around people she's comfortable with. She takes an interest in magical studies, and takes her role as royal advisor to Atem very seriously. She's not super confident in herself, and normally tries to play it down when Atem praises her for her knowledge.

Base Story:

Nesryn is a childhood friend of Atem. Her family has worked closely with the royals for many years, and she is next in line to be the royal advisor when Atem takes the throne. When she isn't nose deep in books and scrolls, she likes to spend time with Atem, always enjoying his company. She will never say it out loud, or to his face, but she has a big crush on her childhood best friend.

Nesryn does her best to keep Atem out of trouble, which is easier said than done. Atem always goes to her for advice and comfort and she's proud that she can offer those things to him. When the battle against Zorc and the Theif King arrives, she sacrifices her life to save Atem's, not knowing that his life would be lost as well. With her dying breaths, she vows to follow Atem wherever he may go, saying her duty to him has not yet been fulfilled.
