Here’s some more Dune Bug, but in his youth or “Golden Years”. More so, his prime.

He is an old school hero, in fact he wasn’t young in the Golden Hero Age, he was debuted much earlier than that. But had to go into hiding due to a mysterious event that he might’ve been directly involved in.

He’s around 20 in these pieces.

Haven’t posted in a bit, quite unmotivated but practicing easier means of animation while building on top of what I know.

Anyways I would like you to meet Dune Bug. He is my Incredibles oc and such a joy in my life. I cooked him up a few days ago. He really is awesome to me. I love his design simply because he’s everything I wish to be in a hero.

Your chiikawa sonas of the JLI gang are so cute! I am reading the series for the first time (got fatigued from Marvel comics and am giving DC a shot) and I can already tell it’s going to be a favorite.

Have you given any thought to the sonas of the other JLI members? (I’m sure you have though!)

Glad you’ve given DC a chance and are enjoying JLI. I’ve been a collector for a few years now. But not a consistent artist so it’s nice to see people enjoying the little series I have with the JLI ‘Chiikawalings’

Thanks for asking me this question, I love sharing my design choices and references.

My next plans are the following:

- Big Barda and Mr Miracle, as creatures with a symbiotic relationship. Ones that are the opposite but work together. Thinking a buffalo for Barda due to her headpiece, and a bird for Miracle from his docile nature. (Also considering Badger\Coyote based on their coexistence)

- Captain Atom might be a more mysterious creature whose design relies on his suit being metal.

- Black Canary, will be a bird as we don’t see a lot of bird chiikawasonas, and I think it’d be interesting to incorporate a suit design to a bird.

- Batman,,, will be a bat. I think it’s the safest option, but he will be saved for much later as he might be used to introduce more DC characters who aren’t part of JLI.

I’m always open to more ideas and characters to do next, so it you have an animal for a character just lmk. I’m basing off a lot of the less cute animal designs from Jokebear, as it has a larger more random cast.

I forgot his cheek colors on the first post, don’t know how that slipped my mind.

Outfit went through a couple of changes. They’re always nice and tailored.

I decided on a rat/mouse, since he’s quite the smart man, but quite the ‘rat’ in his intentions. Depending what you read. Blahblah
