Beta testers intervene as car heads toward PEDESTRIANS on crosswalk 🚘 Tesla FSD.
We show two instances where Tesla's semi-autonomous system heads toward pedestrians on a crosswalk. As the system is currently still "beta" it requires drivers to be attentive and to keep their hands on the wheel at all times. In both instances the testers quick reactions were able to avert any "potential" accident.
Testing is primarily done to alert Tesla's Autopilot team of any problems that are identified, so that future updates can reflect these changes.
The first clip is from the latest version of FSD Beta 10.1 which is currently being tested. The second of the two clips was from the previous FSDBeta 10.0.1 release. The latter is still on Twitter and has also spread through international media.
