in my head i was like "what is the woman equivalent of 1 gorilla vs 100 men" because realistically it would be 1 gorilla (female) vs 100 women which is the most obvious answer but why would a gang of 100 women and 1 female gorilla want to even fight each other. it's not 100 women vs 1 gorilla mom + 1 baby gorilla, it's just 1 lady gorilla. so she's not even protecting a baby so what are we fighting about. i think something is wrong with men for wanting to fight with and kill one of earth's most beautiful creatures

Posts like this are insanely dramatic. Like yeah u gain social capital by doing that shit, but be honest and say you want the social capital. These women act like they’re gonna get gunned down in the street for not wearing mascara. I know several straight women who, purely for personal preference, 1. don’t wear makeup, 2. get sensible haircuts at great clips for $20, and 3. don’t shave. Their skincare is like, a bottle of lubriderm a year. They literally have professional jobs and are in longterm relationships and go out in public, and it’s fine.

Literally look around at the world and you can see this strident hardline statement contradicted lmfao. Some ppl will inevitably give u flack and misogynists will always talk shit, but stop acting like it’s socially compulsive to the point you’ll get run out of town

Thinking about when I was a freshwoman in college and a formerly incarcerated woman came to talk to my feminist theory class about how she believed in abolition but only for women's prisons. She spoke about how rare violent female criminals are, especially when you exclude abuse victims/self defense etc. She spoke about how many of her peers were broken and abused and needed help. She spoke about how isolating mixed-sex spaces for formerly incarcerated people were because so many of the men were openly threatening or misogynistic. She spoke about how complete abolition is unrealistic and impractical because of the epidemic of male violence. She had so many amazing hot takes that she would say without shame or hesitation. It really opened my eyes because I didn't think I was even allowed to think things like that. Anyway I hope she is doing well and I fully agree.
