My Memory Snapchat

It was a Sunday afternoon. Two people were having fun. Smiling from ear to ear. Laughing at each others jokes. Their happiness could be seen in their eyes but in just a few minutes, they will have to bid goodbye. They were only able to meet because they spouted lies.

Writing Prompt: From the Moment I Wake Up
PIRATE
I can smell meat. I immediately opened my eyes and got out of bed. My stomach is growling. I'm starving. Is Sanji done cooking? My wounds from yesterday's fight with Big Mom no longer hurt, thanks to Chopper. I saw Nami taking care of her tangerines and greeted her goodmorning. Then I saw Robin, who was drinking coffee as usual. What a peaceful day it is. I went to our dining room and ate tons of meat. It was so delicious! After that, I took a seat at my favourite spot on our ship. We are about to arrive in the land of Wano. The transponder snail beeps. I immediately answered, "Moshi Moshi, I am Luffy, the man who's gonna be the King of the Pirates!"

Flash Fiction
"Tatsulok"
I was so ecstatic to have gotten a job that I was humming a song as I headed home. I asked my friend, Marjorie, to help me in finding a job, and she just informed me that her father, who is a lawyer, is looking for someone to help him with paperwork. She was told by Atty. Mercadejas that I may report to work as early as tomorrow. I can't wait to tell papa the good news. I saw a young lady with hazel-brown eyes, arched eyebrows, heart-shaped lips, and midnight-black hair. I'm proud of my features because I inherited most of them from my late mother, who passed away from pneumonia. It was actually a curable disease, but we didn't have enough money for her hospital treatment.
I'm only 17, but I'm already in my second year of college because I'm in an accelerated program. Papa has a job, but it's not enough to support the two of us. He works as a driver for Mayor Regalando, and works 14 hours per day but earns less than the minimum wage.
I knew him better than anyone else. Pagdating ko roo'y madaming nagkukumpulang tao. Nakipagtulakan pa ako para lang makapasok. There, I saw my father behind the bars, getting castigated by the police officers.
"Saan mo tinago ang mga ninakaw mo? Ha?!"
"Papa!" I wanted to go near him but they didn't let me pass through.
"Melinda, anak, wala akong kasalanan. Wala akong ninakaw." After hearing those words, I broke from tears.
"I know, papa. I know." My voice cracked when I told him that. It's so painful to see your father crying and pleading for help. In the end, I was thrown out of the police station. People were staring at me furiously, but that's the least of my concern. I need to keep my cool and think rationally if I want to get my father out of jail. I need a lawyer. I kept on dialing Marjorie's number, but she didn't pick up. She could be busy with something. I just decided to go to their house to ask personally for his father's help. I continued to ring the doorbell but received no response. Someone opened the door after a few minutes, and it was Marjorie.
"Marjorie, tulong. Si papa nakakulong." I can't hold my tears from falling as I cry for help.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Melinda. That, however, is not our problem. Please don't try to contact me or go here ever again."
"Walang kasalanan ang papa ko. Kilala mo siya, Marjorie. Hindi niya kayang gawin ang mga binibintang sakaniya."
"We are not sure about that." I was completely taken aback. After saying those words, she slammed the door shut. I'm not sure what I'm feeling right now. I've been betrayed. I'm terrified. I'm filled with rage. I can't think right. I don't know what's gotten into me as I approach Mayor Regalando's mansion.
"Oh, Melinda, naparito ka?" I clenched my fist as I tried my best to prevent myself from doing something that would put me in a grave situation. The blue-eyed man is in his early forties, has a beard and mustache, a map of wrinkles on his face, and his bedazzled teeth are visible as he grins wickedly. He even looks at me as though he's undressing me.
"Mayor Alejandro, pwede po ba kitang makausap ng tayong dalawa lang?" Tiningnan niya muna ang dalawa niyang security guard at saka tinanguan. He placed his hand on my waist as he escorted me to his office. He shut the door behind us as soon as we walked in.
"Anong gusto mong pag-usapan?"
"Gagawin ko po ang lahat, palayain mo lang ang papa ko." He aggressively drew me closer to him as he walked towards me. Nakakasuka.
"Pwede naman, pwede ko namang bawiin ang pahayag ko." Without a word, he shoved me against the door and unbuttoned his trousers. He started undressing me when I came to my senses. I tried to push him as hard as I could. I just wanted him to take his filthy hands off of me. I cried and cried for help, but nobody came. Ginusto ko ito, pero bakit ganito? Wala akong magawa kundi ang umiyak. Ang dumi-dumi ko. I feel so disgusted with myself. As he thrust himself into me, he began to narrate what had actually happened. He put the blame on my father because he knew that no one would dare to condemn and oppose him if the truth came out. Gusto kong magalit sa narinig ko. Gusto kong magwala. I wanted to get rid of him. I wanted to get even. Pero anong magagawa ko? He assured me that my father would get acquitted. Isn't that all that matters? I knew from the very start that we already lost before the war even began. Because in this country, the law is blind and justice is silent when you are without money. Money talks; power silences.
After the incident, my father got out of prison, and we moved out to another place. It's been almost four years and we still haven't gotten the justice we deserve.
"Mama!" A smile grew across my face as a young girl with blue eyes ran over to hug me.
"Happy 3rd Birthday, anak ko," I said as I hugged her back.
