Worst Romantic Experience: She went out with a guy and it was good at first, but then she got her period during dinner, and she was wearing a white dress so it was really obvious. They were about to leave so to distract him she threw soup on him, took his jacket and ran. They didnt go on another date…

Biggest Insecurity: how she looks, but mostly she is super insecure about her body. She’s short and thin, and her boobs and butt arent miraculous so she feels like people (especially guys but people in general) care about that stuff a lot. So she thinks that that means shes not good enough.

Weapon of Choice: She used to take boxing in addition to volleyball so she’d be better off just using herself, but if she had to choose a weapon she’d say a larger knife that she can throw easily probably.

Role Model: Kat doesn’t really have a role model. I guess she looks up to some artists? She admires Girl in Red whos kind of a newer artist. For her ability to basically write whatever the fuck she wants to, and do produe her music and do it all herself, and still be sucessful when singing about her sexuality and girls she likes. She thinks its really cool that she’s just able to be herself.

And she loves the Smiths and the Rolling Stones too.

character entry #1

helllo,                                                                                                 7.14.18 

So currently I am feeling a whirlwind of emotions that are slightly difficult to explain. I do think keeping a diary is a bit stupid but so am I so I needed something to to compliment that. And anyways, it helps me sort through everything i’m thinking + process it all. I have been better at managing my stress, but I've admitted some things that have made it much harder and kind of a lot worse. Which sucks, like a lot, but i’m trying to make the best situation out of it?? I don’t know, at this point I think all I can do is continue dealing with it. 

I don’t know how to deal with feelings very well, much less telling someone how I feel. I was talking to Beau about a bunch of things the other day and shit he’s honestly such a good friend like damn. He is just so so so easy to talk to about all sorts of shit and he actually listens. He doesn’t question too much or over analyze anything (like Hazel), and helps me not freak out as much as normal. I’m so grateful that he’s my friend but I can’t fucking figure anything out on my own. I feel like I annoy him a lot with my constant ranting and much needed advice, but I hope that i’m not too awful. 

Jesus Christ this thing is a mess, but I guess it makes me rant to other people less so that’s a plus?? Random thought (not so random actually i think about it a lot) I really wish someone would take me out on a date. (<-- me realizing how pathetic I am after skimming this over). Honestly they don’t even have to like me, though i’d rather they did, it’s not mandatory or anything. I just really miss the whole dating thing which sounds super sad. 

Funny enough I actually enjoyed stressing out over what to wear, my makeup, etc. etc. Like a nice, cute, friendly, romantic date would really just mean so much. And it’s not like I haven’t tried online dating, because I have. I’ve just met 0 people who actually give a shit about me and who can hold out a conversation. Am I that awful that I can’t get one date because it fucking feels like it. 

Fuck i’m so desperate it’s really sad. Who knew writing down my thoughts would be so damn depressing? Yikes. I feel like whenever I like someone I always tell them first which feels really crappy a lot of the time? To always be the one confessing and never getting told that anyone finds you attractive or sweet or anything feels like a brick just hit me in the chest. 

Yes i’m being overly dramatic but it really fucking sucks. I understand I’m basically setting myself up for failure but I guess I need to stop pushing down my feelings sometimes. My therapist says it’s unhealthy so there you go. 

--- through writing this + just existing I've concluded i’m a petty pain in the ass, but whatever.
