listen. im not a new fan, but not an old one either. homestuck has been my special interest for four years. but. i feel like my opinion/thoughts can be heard. YES. the fandom might be infiltrated. YES. homestuck might be dumbed down. YES. people might only become fans from the show. really, though, history will only repeat itself. those fans who skipped the first three acts happened. new people joining at the peak happened. lots of casual fans became interested only for the trolls and the ships. that all happened at peak homestuck. and this happens with every fandom revival. think of gravity falls or deltarune or invincible, every long awaited update or prequel to the series brings in hype. after a few months, most people disappear and the fandoms are left with more dedicated fans getting into the original work. think positive guys.

but also god damn i hope homestuck doesn’t become hazbin-ified.
