@dawnbreak-daily wanted to have something made for pride month so I could give back for how much I loved reading Vessel for the Radiance.

Now this should give me enough motivation to finish my ✨secret project✨although… I’ve been calling it a secret project but I should give a name right? Well I guess I can give out an acronym or whatever it’s called.

Erm well “WFTW” should’ve come out in February but I just have to finish the character designs I guess so yeah. Should be ready to release soon…

OK, I cannot lie. I was getting flashbacks when Kris was tossing and turning in bed while you can hear “dialogue noises” in the back.

Jesus and I thought the Noelle scene was bad. Like my god Kris, I want to give you a warm blanket and a hot coco from the diner, infinite hugs be upon thee, no matter if you betray the fun gang or not

every time I think I’ve related to Kris enough. Toby just drags me back in. There’s too many metaphors that I feel on a personal level.

PLEASE I hope in chapter 5 Susie keeps up her reputation of being the best character in deltarune by comforting Kris or something

I'm back to normal posting schedule once again, but since this is an off week, here are some things to read while you wait :3

Means to an End by @frolicinq

This is a hk fic by my dear friend that you should absolutely check out if you haven't already! It shares some delightful elements with vftr: arranged marriage of an oc to the Pure Vessel to secure a political alliance, while presenting a very different take on it. What if the two met as children? What if they grew up together in the White Palace, becoming friends in secret? Just, ghhhh, read it.

PALE GUARD (Feyrin-Side) by @orisfandomhell

A more recent addition to my reading list but not any less exciting is this hk fic by another friend! It also features oc x Hollow, exploring a very different dynamic between them. An urchin suddenly gets cornered into being the Pure Vessel's guard, only oops they can sense the vessel's thoughts and intentions. The writing and world-building around it is insanely good, so check it out.

Outside of fics, if you like my writing, you might also like the following books:

Winter's Orbit by Everina Maxwell - space opera about a gay arranged marriage which was a huge inspiration for my writing. The dynamic between the leads is absolutely lovely.

Imperial Radch Series by Ann Leckie - another space opera, this time about an ai warship in its last human body. This book is just my absolute favorite and while not directly similar to vftr, inspires me greatly in how I write culture, class and relationships.

The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison - fantasy novel about a banished fourth son of the Emperor suddenly inheriting the throne. I've only read this book last month, but boyyyyy, it's incredible. Makes me go "I want to write like this when I grow up". The world-building is rather dense but figuring it out is its own reward.
