Day 12: Modern AU

This is a modern AU bc Marlin and Claire quitting their jobs to move is impossible in this day and age so they’re stuck in the city.

I drew Marlin and Claire living their city lives. Marlin is your typical overworked salaryman and Claire is your typical broke barista. I think it’d be fun if they rode the same train to work while listening to happy music to get them through the day.

Marlin was always one of my fav bachelors

I like to think after quitting his stressful job in the city he becomes happier and healthier after living with Vesta on her farm. I also say he straightened his hair for his job and embraces his curls once they start to grow back. It’s my way of coping after they stole his curls and lightened his hair in the new remake 😭

I finally finished Rebecca’s ref

Rebecca is Richie's wife in my original setting “Carte Blanche”

She is the daughter of a mafia boss, and also married to the mafioso. She soon realized that Richie took her as his wife not out of love, but only for useful connections.

Still, Rebecca loved her husband dearly, even though for a long time she had to turn a blind eye to some very scary things.
