Two eosin-glazed ceramic vases and a lidded box made by the factory of Vilmos Zsolnay in Pecs, Hungary c. 1900. The iridescent eosin glaze was developed by Zsolnay in the late 19th century and its popularity catapulted his factory into the higher echelons of European decorative arts during the Art Nouveau period.
These pieces are at the Museum Beim Markt in Karlsruhe, Germany
