Rembrandts Shadows
When I started to really practice drawing at a younger age, Rembrandts coffee shop was the place for me to go. There were Rembrandt prints and etchings and a variety of artworks by local artists on the walls. The old wood floors and chairs and tables were crumbly and worn. It’s one of the oldest buildings in Eagle. I shot a photograph of the chairs and their shadows and referenced it for this oil painting. Shadows do incredible things. @rembrandtseagle ☕️ 🪑
