a few nights ago lotus and poison, iconic performers and trans women, were viciously attacked at legends gay nightclub. nobody intervened in a supposed community space. please help cover their medical expenses and show them they are not alone. they were absolutely let down, and what kind of community doesn't help its most vulnerable? consider showing them support both emotionally and financially after this dual trauma of abuse and neglect.

HOLD THE FUCK UP!!!!! WE FINALLY FOUND A VAN AND WE JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE HELP SECURING IT!!!!

After 2 years of homelessness and months of tireless searching, a few really amazing friends have helped us find, and cover almost the entire cost of, a van for us to live in!!!

We are going to see it TOMORROW, but we need help with the rest of the cost!!!

My partner and I are disabled transmascs who have been homeless for 2 years following a transphobic eviction. Since then, we have been in a series of horrific couch-hopping situations that have repeatedly threatened our lives. Going back to vanlife isn't a luxury, it is our only option for housing and survival.

We only need $500 to secure this van and ensure that we are safe, sheltered, mobile, autonomous and ALIVE for the indefinite future!! That is less than the cost of one (1) month of rent to get us totally set up with a van we will hopefully live in for a very long time!!
