I recently finished Anne with an E on Netflix and I’m so sad they didn’t renew for S4. Anyways, with the whole country being on lockdown I’ve had a great deal of time to write fics. This is canon divergent but it follows Anne and Jerry through numerous events that actually happened in S3, with of course some AU things added in.

I am probably the only person on earth to ship Jerry and Anne, but after seeing how Anne responded when she found out Diana treated Jerry like he was common, I felt there must be some sort of connection between these two so I decided “why not!” There are hints of Shirbert although it is mostly platonic.

Finding Home in Hawkins (AU)

A while ago I got an ask requesting recommendations for AU fics where El & Will become step-siblings, and El meets Mike that way. I didn’t know of any at the time, but I remember thinking what a cute idea it was, and luckily now the lovely @cherryslurpeeonly is writing it! It’s super cute and fluffy so far, and I’m excited to see where it goes :) Everyone go check it out!

Rating: T  Summary: After El’s mom Terry leaves her and Hopper to fend for themselves, Hopper decides it’s time for a fresh start. They move back to his hometown of Hawkins, Indiana and Hopper takes a job there as chief of police. He rekindles his love with his high school sweetheart, Joyce Byers, and the two marry. El was finally getting accustomed to life with just her and her dad but now there are two step-brothers and a step-mother in the equation. To make matters more interesting, she finds herself crushing on one of Will’s friends.

STRANGER THINGS SPOILER THEORY

Okay so I noticed something in the scene right after Joyce turns the key, everything goes black and then we see this

you can clearly see Hop isn’t there, and then in the next shot you clearly see those four people turn to mush. They specifically did not show us Hopper melting but showed us four random people dying. Why? To tell or hint to us that Hopper could be alive?

So that plus the “American” in the post credit scene got me thinking what if both the gate in Hawkins and the one in Russia were connected. And maybe Hopper either jumped through or was sucked through the gate into the upside down and the found another door and ended up in Russia. That or I’m in the denial or barging stage of grief
