Moving Blogs

Hi everyone!

Gosh, it’s been while since my last post! I guess I might as well keep you guys updated?

I’ve been working full time since 2016, I’ve started attending college again part time in 2018, and my personal life has been pretty chaotic these last few months. I’ve experienced a lot of wonderful opportunities, but I’ve also had to face hardships in the form of familial loss and internal struggles. I’m still struggling; however, I believe that I’m navigating the turbulent waters of life with enough finesse for the time being. I have my devoted, caring girlfriend, my family, and all of our friends to thank for that.

Through these rough times, I’ve had to really analyze and further develop parts of myself that I hadn’t fully addressed in the past. I’ve come to accept my flaws and I’m committed to trying to change what I can even if it takes time. Moreover, I’ve decided to no longer hold any reservations about my passions and my goals for the future. I’m going to keep pressing forward until I’m happy with the effort I’ve given. And I believe that involves moving on from this blog.

I don’t intend on quitting Tumblr. I only desire a re-branding of myself and my content. Anime and “otuku” culture was a huge aspect of my life during high school and early college, but it was a crutch for my depression; a form of escapism, to be frank. Regardless, it still continues to have an impact on me and I won’t ignore that fact. I’ve just changed as a person. And thus, I’ve created a new blog to match my evolving tastes and hobbies. I’m also giving it more of a personal flair, including actual blogging which is a first for me. 

Thank you to everyone who has supported me here. Thank you to each and every friend and acquaintance I made on this website; my Tumblr experience wouldn’t be what it has been if it weren’t for all of you. I hope to see some of you there!
