Second pic was obvi The Pieta by Michelangelo, but shoutout to my partner for suggesting the role reversal cause I was initially gonna draw Viktor in Jayce's arms again, but having it the other way around gave me the idea for the last piece where they're mutually in each other's arms and on equal ground in the composition

Third pic was reffed from The Blossoming Of Love by Miquel Blay! Had to move Jayce's hand to Viktor's shoulder because he was too yolked for his arm to fit between them lmao

Viktor's hands

Just... randomly getting emotional about the gestures we see Viktor make at defining moments in his story.

His first characteristic gesture is hand open, vulnerable, offering something. As a child, it's what we see with Rio:

The obviously there's arguably the moment all of Arcane's events hinge on, him offering the bracelet to Jayce, and like with Rio, waiting until Jayce makes a move:

But then things change, and throughout season one, Viktor feels increasingly disregarded and alone and desperate. And there's Viktor's crucial mistake, the reckless experimentation with the Hexcore. After all the times he's offered something, this is him hurting his open hand himself, cutting it, a renounciation of who he was before:

Then his typical gestures change, because so does he. As the Herald, he doesn't offer something - he takes something, hand outstreched:

But then, the very end, hand open again, vulnerable, finally receiving something, in a gesture from Jayce very reminicent of a proposal (HE'S RECEIVING JAYCE'S LOVE):

Just... the details in that show, maaaaaan.
