Reflections on a Year of Reading of Pure’s literature
Titles read: The time of a Hero, by Mario vargas Llosa, and Death in the Andes by Mario vargas Llosa.
This year has been a new experience that I have been involved with because my english teacher assigned us an independent reading project and we had to pick a country and whatever country you get you need to find an author from that country and read their books, it could be any author. For me my country was Peru and the author i read from was Mario Vargas Llosa and i learned a lot of or you can say i have an idea what peru looks like and what it is tho. Like for example peru has a lot of criminal activity and the government is like corrupted and it is not really a rich country like America it's pretty poor they mostly have little house made from mud and brick but yeah there is so much i know about Peru like its very hot there too the weather almost never changes too. But there is so much more to peru that i learn from those books i read so for an example like there are so many bars and partying over there too so yeah that was another thing that i know about and one last thing is that peru has a lot of mountains too. This is what i learned about peru from the books i read from Mario Vargas Llosa.
What i learn from each book:
So for the first book call Death in the Andes that book what help visual peru a lot more because in the beginning it was describing how it has a lot of mountain and and it is not a flat land lots of mountain and rocks and bumpy with little hills and the burning sun because of how hot it is. But the book was about a group of people trying to find out murders of five people and they go around and try to find clues and info from other people and find who murders those people and why they did it.
Now for last and second book called The time of a Hero that is what i got that people are loyal and friendly but not everything is pretty tho so it was about these two people name cava and jugar and friends that worked with each other but their work was that they keep guard of slaves that their boss keeps and too keep it short it gets really bad further in the story and a lot of criminal action happen too so yeah
I learned from these books is that “nothing in the world fair or pretty”
Finally i have learned so much from this project to be honest i think my reading is better and my spelling too and i want to thank you for helping me out on that and other thing that i learned from this project is that is to make time like time management that is what i improve a lot too because all those time that i was really busy i still found time to do the quotes and reading sop i also want to thank you on that. From the books I learn from this, make better decisions in life or whatever. It has been a really exciting experience and I thank you.

Summary
So what has been happening so far in the story called The time of the hero is that right now is that cava and jugar are running away still and hiding from the cops because they getting searched for right now and the cops are going to each town and looking for them knocking down doors and etc and there was a moment when they found them and they were getting chased around the towns and running thru the hills and like dogs are chasing them and etc they cant catch a break.
Critical response
One of the most important quote that i found in the story was when it said while they got caught from the cops is when it said “He blew his whistle and the last line ran toward the hill.’’ they is what they were doing was that when they were getting chases the cops one of them blew a whistle and made the dogs chase them all over the hills at that point but before the dogs came at them the were running at the town first then they went to the hills. But yeah that is what i think is the most important quote i found in the book.
Personal response
So what i t5hink is going to happen in the near future of the book is that when they escape from the dogs they are going to find a farm and live in one of the sheds there but the people who like and work on the farm are gioing to find them eventually and report it to the cops and the cops are going to chase them again and again.So cava and jugar are going to run away from them but maybe somebody might help them escape for example like they pick them up on a car

Summary
So when jugar and cava are hiding in the house from the cops the cops asking jaguars dad question about if they saw him but the dad didnt say rat them out or anything so far and after that they just spend time at jaguars dad house to let time go past and figure out where to go from there so right now they are in a sticky situation right now it will be hard for them to get time to breath a little and after a few days they wen back on the run and ran to other spot but when they went to other spot they were a funeral at a time tho so yeah that what has happen so far.
Critical summary
One important critial quote i thought that was important to me was it said “ the main room was even more crowed and smoke was thick you could hardly see a thing.” so what it is saying that when got to the funeral the setting was crowed with people and the smoke for example foggy at the funeral so yeah it just explains the setting what is happening or look around it so it can give you an idea so far.
Personal summary
What i think what is going to happen in next few chapter is that they are going to keep running and try to cross the boarder to USA and live there but they are going to face with the boarder police so yeah that what i think might happen later on but other thing that could happen in the book is that they could get caught by the police and arrest them again and one of the friends could break them out to be i dont know tho but that is what i think is going to happen.

Summary
Right now what is happening in the story so far is that cava and jugar are break out the prison so far and right now they are almost out the prison and jugar is helping cava from the outside open doors where they escape from and etc but soo far they are almost outside so after a few few hours they fina,lly escape and then they run too jaguars dad because he lives somewhere far away and away from the city.
Critical response
What i think that was one of a important quote in the story that i found was “ my father was so drunk he wont even listen to me.’’ this is basically tells what happen when they reached jaguars dads house because they were running away from the prison and eventually the police found out and the police ask if he say hes son and his friend but the dad didnt know because he was drunk and asleep, jugaur and cava were hidng in a closet.
Personal response
What i think what is going to happen later in the novel later is that they are going to be on the run still because the cop later finds a clue that the two were in the house of jaguar dad and then later on they probably find other place to hide out from the cops so they will be on a the run for a while so far but that is what i think is going to happen later in the story but what else could happen later in the story is that when they are hiding they could have have been caught red handed out of nowhere because they drop their Guard when they were sleeping. But anything could happen that is what i think is going to happen later in the story.
