After having only been playing dragon age the past few months, I decided to go back to Skyrim for a little while. Its been nice to just chill in a big open world game again, but I noticed something that I have to bring to other peoples attention; im sure Im not the only person to notice this either.

So apparently like, half the imperial soldiers are voiced by Gideon Emery (Fenris' voice actor), and now I can't stop hearing it every time I pass by one of them. Now I kinda wanna do a playthrough of Skyrim as my Hawke, just for the fun of it.

My DA4 hopes

ya DA2 is really bad written except Varric. There's a theory of Ander is being used by old god and Coryphues. For Fenris, I hate that every prediction/sense/ assumption of him turn out being correct. My hawke can't show Fenris a good mage and the world state in DA3 is so fuck up.

Anders and Fenris could’ve been commentary about lateral oppression/violence.

It really burns me up that Fenris and Anders could’ve argued, come to an impasse, realized they weren’t really angry with each other and resolved to do something about corruption at the highest levels together.

But no. Anders had to be a ‘terrorist’ and Fenris had to be just close-minded enough to hate all mages that weren’t Hawke and Bethany.

Also Fenris and Merrill and Anders and Merrill.

Whether they liked the blood magic or not, they could’ve at least come to an understanding that she only ever used the blood of enemies or herself– and that her aims were noble and just focused on like. Being supportive but also checking her ambition and making sure she didn’t grasp for too much– which would still have been condescending but at least then they’d be doing it to look out for her instead of treating her like a child they’d just be worried for their friend.
