DONUTS 🍩
Ingredients:
- 300g Flour (about 1.5-1.75 Cup)
- 1/4 cup powdered Sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 egg (preferably at room temp)
- 80-100 ml warm milk
- 50 g butter (room temp)
Steps:
* Step 1- Add 300g flour, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp salt , 1 tsp yeast, 1 egg and 50g butter into a mixing bowl combine all ingredients well.
* Step 2- Add about 80 -100 ml of milk into the bowl gradually and knead the dough until a soft dough is formed.
* Transfer the dough into a large well oiled bowl, seal the bowl with cling wrap and leave it to rest for 2 hours in a warm place.
* Once the dough has risen, hand knead the dough on a well floured surface for about 5 mins and then transfer the dough back into the large bowl and leave in freezer for no more than 15 mins with the cling wrap on(if the cling wrap isn’t on there will be icicles in ur dough.
* After 15 mins take the dough out knead it once again knead it on a well floured surface and cut it into the shape you like.(a traditional donuts shape can be made using a glass and bottle cap.
* The dough will still be v sticky but that’s just how doughnut dough is. Just add it to medium hot oil and fry is until brown.
* Coat with with chocolate or powdered sugar or whatever🤦🏻♂️😂(powdered sugar is my fav tho)

Garlic Mozzarella Cheese Sticks


Ingredients;
2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp salt🧂
1.5 tsp Instant Yeast
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/4 Cup Milk powder (Olpers milk powder works...DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IF U GOT EVERYDAY)
250 grams Butter 🧈🧈
1 Garlic
Lots of Oregano
Lots of Parsley
Mozzarella Cheese 🧀

Making the dough;
(If you're using maida because you live in Pakistan and all purpose dough isn't available anywhere...that works too but pass ur maida through a seize before using it.)
Add 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1.5 tsp Instant yeast, 1 Tbsp Sugar, and 1/4 Cup of Milk Powder into a large bowl and mix the dry ingredients well.
Gradually add half cup of water into the bowl and knead until a soft dough is formed.
Add 1/4 of cup butter (about 60 grams) into the dough and knead until it's fully incorporated into the dough.
Leave the dough in a well oiled bowl covered with cling film, in a warm place to rise for about 2 hours(until its about double the size.
Meanwhile get to making the garlic butter and chopping the Mozzarella into sticks.
Once the dough has risen place it onto a clean surface sprinkled with flour and hand knead the dough until its smoothened out. Then place the dough back into the bowl with cling film and place in the refrigerator for 15 mins.
Once the dough has rested, place it onto a clean surface sprinkled with flour and and hand knead it once again.
Roll out the dough about a half cm thick and cut it into rectangular pieces big enough to wrap your rectangular mozzarella sticks into(make sure there are no holes).
Once you've wrapper place the sticks into a well oiled oven dish about 2 inches apart and brush them with your garlic butter.
Place in an oven preheated to 180 Degree Celsius and bake until light brown(never rely on a set time for baking since I've realised that everyone's oven bakes at it's own time.)
Once they are done enjoy your garlic Mozzarella Cheese sticks coz congratulations YOU DID ITT 🥳🥳🥳
Making the Garlic Butter;
Add Garlic cloves and a generous amount of Parsley and Oregano into a grinder and grind the ingredients well.
Melt your butter in the oven until it's completely liquid.
Add ur garlic mixture into the butter and mix with a spoon. And voila your garlic butter is ready!!!! 🥳😋

CHURROS
Ingredients:
- Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp) - Salt🧂(1/4 tsp)
- Butter 🧈(1/2 Cup - approx 110 grams) - Vanilla Essence (1 tsp)
- Flour (1 cup)
- 3 Eggs 🥚 - Powdered Sugar (LOTS OF IT)
- Cinnamon Powder (1:4 to the powdered sugar)
- LOTS OF NUTELLA 😋

- Light up ur stove to moderate heat, and place a deep sauce pan on top.
- Add 1 Cup of water, followed by 2 Tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp salt 🧂 , and half a cup of butter. - Mix until everything has dissolved into a solution and bring solution to a boil😊.
- Once it begins to boil add 1 tsp Vanilla Essence followed by 1 cup of flour.
- Mix rigorously until all the flour has dampened and been incorporated into the paste which at this point should become thick and doughy. Once this happens immediately turn stove off and continue mixing for a few minutes.
- Once done transfer the dough into a glass bowl .
- Add 1 egg into the bowl and mix until the egg has been properly incorporated into the dough. Continue this until you've added all 3 eggs one by one (do not add them at the same time!).
- Keep mixing the dough for a few minutes and then transfer it into a piping bag with a big enough tip for the size of churro you prefer ( it mustn't be to wide or to thin).
- Before frying them be sure to prepare your sugar coating first. Just mix lots of powdered sugar to 1/4th the amount of cinnamon powder.
- Once the sugar coating is ready, pipe the churros into oil preheated to a medium level of heat and fry until they are crispy,(make sure the oil isn't too hot).
- Once fried roll the churros in ur sugar coating until properly coated and enjoy with a helping of Nutella 🤪.
