Malevolent OC Compendium

This is a compilation of every Malevolent podcast OC I could find! I wanted to show off everyone's lovely work in a single, easily accessible place. So many people ask to see each other's OCs to draw or write them together, and can't find them easily, so here they all are!

I attempted to correctly name, tag, and describe them all, though you'll notice I could not provide a description for each one, and there may be some missing all together. This was not an intentional dig at anyone! There are over 100 OCs, and I put together this list in my free time, so if there is anything you would like added, removed, or changed, please just let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I can!

I plan to just edit this list instead of using reblogs to add more information, so be sure to check it periodically for the latest version! May also add color coding to help indicate who is a KiY cultist, Nyarlathotep worshipper, civilian, etc. at a glance.

Bill Rose/Wilma Rosenburg (@amaritheartist)

A male impersonator/drag king that is attempting to get all his queer friends to put on a production of the KiY play entirely in drag.

The Scribe (@arthur-lesters-music-stand)

KiY cultist, continues the tradition of writing scripture in the style of the KiY play. Constantly receives visions of what the King is currently doing in order to transcribe it into maddening text. She could ignore the King’s split soul for a while, but once John joined with Arthur, she became inflicted with double visions about what both parts of his soul were up to. Tired, small, and yearning for a calm and normal life though she is, she’s now on a warpath to kill Arthur Lester or return John to the King, whichever is faster, to end the double visions.

A blind painter for the KiY, able to see visions and supernatural occurrences. Classics lecturer by day, sells his painters under the pen name Tiresias at night. Unintentionally a cultist but leans into it.

Callie Woodshaw (@axlethegoblin)

Lived in Addison, but his parents were killed by the mines. Larson would have had Callie killed, too, but decided to adopt him instead for his valuable gift of letting spirits speak through him. Transmasc.

A waitress at every cafe and diner in the show, worshipper of Lillith, German immigrant. Obsessed with nightmares.

"Mechanic by day and private reporter by night", he trails Arthur Lester, holding him personally responsible for every day body and missing person in the main series. Personal friend of Eddie, the maintenance man. Gets casually involved in supernatural stuff, cults not a big fan of him.

Anatoli Vovkodav (@bitesizedsurprise)

Ukranian Cossack, Miskatonic Researchers destroyed his village and younger siblings in a ritual. He learns occult magic to turn evildoers into hares. He flees to NYC and alters between his main identity and his disguise, a Parisian woman named Amelie.

The Herald (@bluetheanimator)

Presumably announces the coming of the KiY, bothers him just because, "he wants them dead 24/7". Writes fanfic about the King and clocks people on their gaydar. (They/it?) Freaky mouth under mask. Loves Noel/Charlie.

They call themselves Cricket, the bold, feral, and clingy half (who can be human, but often prefers to shapeshift into a tuxedo cat), and Ant, the quieter, reserved, and self-sacrificing half. Together, they travel the realms as friends, occasionally joining with others.

French impressionist painter, partnered with her muse, Tessie. One day, Tessie reads the KiY play, and Blanche follows shortly after, both sent into shock by the contents. Not cultists, but are slowly going insane and spreading madness for the King ever since.

Charlotte is a KiY cultist who is also a theatre and film actress. She can play any role and wears masks, and can compel others to act how she wants.

Cynthia is a social church organist, and Jamie is a shy young priest at the same church as Fathers Abe, Seymour, and Oscar. They yearn to be together, but are kept apart by the prejudice against their interracial relationship. Influenced by Oscar, green to the supernatural things they may encounter.

Pair of gay priests that influence Oscar in his young adult life and fight the cultists of the KiY. Abe is more risk taking and openly genial, Seymour is more reserved and connects better with Oscar.

A painter, dollmaker, and KiY cultist. He read the KiY play very slowly, so the madness didn't take hold as quickly or strongly as the King would have preferred. He leans into making art for the King, mostly as a hobby. True cultists see this as blasphemous and kill him, but Kayne brings him back to create dolls to manipulate Jarthur with.
