The only way a bisexual house episode would happen is house makes a weirdly specific and knowledgeable joke about gay sex and Wilson asks if that’s true/how he knows that and house goes “from fucking men”. Wilson’s initial reaction is a bit weird so he spends the rest of the episode trying to show how good of an ally he is by trying to support house’s bisexuality by “checking out” men with house like he would with women but it’s just weird. House wants to see how far Wilson will go with his allyship and it gets to the point where house brings Wilson to a gay strip club, where Wilson is extremely uncomfortable. They get back to house’s place and house finally tells Wilson he’s just fucking with him, Wilson doesn’t need to do all that weird shit, just treat him like he normally does. Wilson actually takes it to heart and asks what kind of men house is into and house answers by describing Wilson exactly. Wilson low key freaks but then he realizes house is fucking with him and he’s like “oh you’re messing with me” and house is like “fucking obviously. I like twinks with big butts, why do you think I hired Chase?” Wilson turns to his drink on the table and laughs, camera shows house looking lovingly at Wilson, end of episode

I think Steven got into French poetry—specifically Marceline Desbordes-Valmore—after Marc left Layla. I feel like Marc tried really hard to push down his feelings about Layla to maintain their separation, but longed for her so intensely that these feelings found expression in his subconscious.
In the happiest days of their marriage, I picture Marc sprawled across Layla’s lap as she reads excerpts from her favorite book of poems. He’s never really been a literature guy and doesn’t get poetry, but when he listens to Layla read, he feels warm, safe, totally enraptured. Steven knows none of this, of course, but one day finds himself inexplicably drawn to the poetry section of his favorite book shop. A sleek volume catches his eye, written in French. He’s not fluent, but he dabbles in the language. (Did he study it in secondary school? He can’t remember…) Steven flips to a random page and starts reciting lines: N’écris pas. Je suis triste, et je voudrais m’éteindre. / Do not write. I’m sad and I want to die. Les beaux étés sans toi, c’est la nuit sans flambeau. / Beautiful summers without you are like nights without a torch. J’ai refermé mes bras qui ne peuvent t’atteindre, / I have closed my arms that cannot reach you, Et frapper á mon Coeur, c’est frapper au tombeau. / And knocking on my heart is like knocking on the tomb.
Tears well up in Steven’s eyes. He is confused, anguished, and enthralled all at once. He appreciates poetry, but no poem has ever made him feel like this. He quickly puts the book in his basket and, after a moment’s pause, grabs two other volumes off the shelf as well. He is oblivious to the pressure behind his eyes, to the tears that continue to fall, and to Marc’s emotions spilling over into his own. For the rest of the night, Steven pours over the book and Marc is dragged through a labyrinth of emotion. Steven’s feverish recitations bring up memory after memory of soft moments and tender touches. And through it all, Marc aches for his wife.
