First Week Complete

Hey Guys,

Second post ever super exciting :D

I'm on my laptop today so hopefully, the flow of typing is better. I completed my first week of this semester and it went pretty well. Last semester I had a really hard time being motivated so it wasn't great but I have a lot of hope for this semester. Most of my classes are essay based which I'm really good so hopefully As and Bs. I had to write my first essay this weekend but it was only three pages so I sort of breezed through it. I struggle a lot with starting essays but once I get in the flow I'm always able to write something decent lol. I also had my first quiz of the semster today which I forgot about so I didn't really study that well :( but it wasn't that bad so maybe I did pretty good :)

My favorite class is probably between my gender studies class and my psych class. I'm studying public health so the psych class is a lot more relevant to my studies but my gender studies class is on the body in early Christianity and so far it's been very interesting.

I also finally got around to cleaning my room so I feel a lot more free if that makes sense. I am also going back to work tomorrow which I am pretty excited about I actually like the work that I'm doing so I can't wait to go back.

Lastly, I applied to some internships this week which I'm pretty nervous. These last couple of semsters haven't been the best so I don't think I'll get them but you never know, I don't find about interviews until mid-feburary so now we wait and see.

I listen to a lot of mainstream stuff; Taylor Swift, Mitski, Beyoncé, Victoria Monet, Drake, Dominic Fike, Brent Faiyaz. (I went to the Eras Tour this year and it was my first concert ever)

I’m also into Midwestern emo and a lot of sad music bands just random little ones like Mom Jeans is really good

Books

I’ve been in a reading slump lately but I’m currently reading “Walk the Vanished Earth” by Erin Swan it’s really good highly recommend.

Also have been reading “Cats Cradle” by Kurt Vonnegut but I’ve been reading it for a bout a year never really get around to finishing it just sounds cool to say

Hobbies

Don’t really do much lol. I go to college in the middle of nowhere but I’m originally from a big city so a lot of the stuff I like to do doesn’t really translate that well here. But I’m into going to museums, walking around mostly. Trying new foods I love a good restaurant I’ve never been too.

But yeah sorry this is kind of a blurb it’s my first post and I’m also just typing it on my phone lol. But yeah hopefully having this account will help me out a bit.
