The Zechs acrylic standee and meal from Gundam Cafe's Christmas event years ago was so Noin-coded it was criminal that it's just the guys who got featured. It's not called the "Escort" series for nothing, of course but. Ugh. A casual-attire Noin standee would have been lovely. One that would have paired nicely with the Zechs one.

Maybe this year? A girl can hope.

The way Une is in only two pages of the new manga but she manages to serve cunt every time we see her. Yes, that's my emotional support evil bitch. ✊😩 Keep ruining people's lives, queen. Big fan of characters realizing they don't get to die. They have to live. And grow. And be a person. And deal with shit they thought they'd never have to. And be fucked up about it. I would like more of this. Enough dying for honor or as redemption. It ain't. You're just a corpse. There is no moral value in dirt time.

Hey there! As a fellow Noin fan, I understand wanting the best for her, too.

I do think we have a fundamentally different understanding of the characters and what transpired between them in the series, however.

"Noin deserves better than Zechs"

To which I say: Noin deserves to have everything her heart desires — including Zechs.

Especially Zechs.

The man is flawed, but there was never any doubt as to his affections for Noin. He may have tried to rid himself of his attachments, but we all saw how that went.

There was never going to be a proper relationship until they could commit (rightly so) — but they kept faith through it all. Loved each other their own way, even while they were navigating different paths.

I think that's beautiful and is precisely the reason why their bond is able to withstand all the shit life throws at them.
