PLS THE WAY I AWWWWW’D SO LOUD WHEN I SAW THIS,,, that means SO much, I love you bestie your reblogs make me smile sm.. 🫶🫶but yeah! I use procreate for most everything, including that last animation I did, even though I’ve now migrated to toon squid,, for all my SpongeBob doodles I use the gel pen brush, and in rare cases for sharper lines I use a modified syrup brush! And for the comics I’m working on I use a brush my friend lent me, I’ll maybe post the custom brushes at some point. And like I posted about, my lines typically start off SUPER scribbly and rough and I have around 3-4 sketch layers before I start the lineart :)

There was probably an even ROUGHER layer of this one that I already deleted tbh

Maybe controversial, but I really fw Are You Happy Now? as an episode. I completely understand why people wouldn’t, and yes, the rope joke is in poor taste. But honestly, it was weirdly validating, as someone that actually deals with depression, su*cidal ideation and bedrotting, to see a character I relate to a lot go thru that kinda thing. Yes, they did make a joke about sewerslide. That was pretty wild. But the actual portrayal of depression wasn’t punching down, it was genuinely sympathetic. At least, that’s how I took it. And all the shippy stuff aside, SpongeBob is just a really good friend. It was sweet to see him try to pull squidward out of a legitimate depressive episode. It warmed my heart bc it genuinely do just be like that sometimes

Hey I have a question,,, so I remember I saw someone post their fanfic ideas ab smth in a sorta bullet point format and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in hearing about my SpongeBob fic ideas bc I have a few 😭😭 only thing is I’m not a writer I’m an artist, so if these were ever made it’d be in comic form. There are some being worked on rn, it’s just taking FOREVER bc backgrounds are impossible.
