Sorry I didn’t get on when I said I would, this last week has been a whirlwind for me. I’ll try to get to some things this week because next week is going to be crazy too, I’ll be working almost every day and I have my graduation ceremony.

This week is kinda crazy for me and I’m going to be gone most of the weekend to a film festival, won’t be back until monday or tuesday at the latest. So I’m probably not gonna be on until after that, if I am it’ll be sometime today or late saturday after work otherwise i’ll be to busy or tired

Hi, I’m Arianna, and…well, the short story is the semester of school I’m in right now has been rough. My mother died in February, and I had to take off of school for a week and a half to go down for her funeral. I’m in and out of classes because I’m working with my girlfriend, babysitting, to try and save money. Also, my dad is moving out of our house, so I’ll have nowhere to go over the summer.

I have to get a job to afford an apartment with my girlfriend, but I’m still in the process of filling out applications. My girlfriend has the babysitting job, but in order to afford the apartment comfortably, I’ll need a job too, and that’s hard to do in the middle of working on school stuff and extra-curriculars.

The 950 is for the first month’s rent and deposit on the apartment, because trying to get an apartment in Lexington, Kentucky is hard as it is, and they aren’t really cheap. Any little bit helps us, because otherwise, we’ll have nowhere to go by May 1 when my classes let out and we’re no longer living in the dorm room, so we don’t know where we’re going to go.

“Noted.” Jeongmin said, looking at the repair job on his watch. Honestly he’d probably break it in another day or two, but he wouldn’t be heartbroken on it. He had used it as an excuse to get youngmin to stay with him for this long after all, the food was just another excuse.

“I’ve been practicing. I can make simple things - mostly breakfast things. Pancakes, I’m good at pancakes. I guess it’s a little to late for that though hmm....I could always go grab something.”

“Ya think so?” He asked, tilting his head as he gave a few more strokes to the other’s hair before stopping. Youngmin probably realized he was lying, not like Jeongmin was completely trying to cover why exactly he had decided to bring it to the younger. Just a little white lie he didn’t care if it was uncovered. He’d bring forth his intentions in a few moments anyways.

“That much I can do.” He said, but not reaching for the watch until it was handed to him. He didn’t want to take it before it was done. “Now, are you hungry? I can make us something.”

“Alright.” He said, spreading just a little bit of butter on each of the pancakes before putting that away and cleaning off the pan and knife. “Go ahead and sit down in the living room, I’m just going to grab us some water an forks then I’ll be out okay?” Jeongmin smiles before going back to one of their coolers, pulling out two bottled waters. Sometimes he wished they could have actual cups for drinks but most of the time it wasn’t possible. Maybe when this hell was over and they were actually ready to move on with their lives.

Grabbing some plastic silverware, he carries everything carefully out to the living room. He puts the drinks and plates down on the small coffee table they had, pulling it closer to the couch so they wouldn’t have to reach out so much to grab their drinks. “Anything else you need before we start eating?”

He barely takes his eyes off of Minwoo for two seconds and he finds a place to sit on the counter and looks absolutely adorable wrapped up in his blanket. Jeongmin chuckles softly before giving a nod. “You don’t have to eat all of it if you don’t think your stomach can handle it. But you do need to eat.” the older said before quickly getting the other pancakes done.

After separating the food he looks for something to top them with. “We only have butter or jam to put on them, really. Did you want either?” Jeongmin said, already getting out butter for himself.

Jeongmin couldn’t help but laugh softly at the description of the bird. “I own a pet, actually. His name is pockets, he’s a small kitten I found one day. But I suppose I wouldn’t understand still, because he doesn’t go outside very often. He prefers to be inside, climbing over things and attacking me through blankets.” The thief gives a small chuckle.

“Well, I suppose that’s your choice, it was just a suggestion after all. And Tao, hm - I like it, cool name.” Here’s a bit of a smirk before he’s introducing himself.

“Fox. No need for ‘Mr.’ though, I’m sure our age isn’t that far apart right? And Sorry if I offended your pet.” 

“Whatever you say champ.” Jeongmin chuckles softly. He didn’t buy it, but the conversation must continue, right? “Well, it keeps them from getting into trouble, it’s worth it right? Plus I’m pretty sure those kinda things are adjustable so you don’t choke your pet - would so many people use them if they weren’t safe?” Jeongmin said in a matter of fact tone before waving his hand in dismissal. What, did this guy speak bird or something?

“Right, Right, my mistake.” Jeongmin grinned. “Well it’s nice to meet you Heian, aannndddd—????” He trailed off, obviously waiting for the other to introduce himself.

“Hey, I need money to feed the family. Money is important.” Fox said in a matter of fact tone. “I’ve been trying to save up to get us a better place but it’s tough when you’re spending most of the money on food.” Pawning items and stealing only got them so far. He mayb eshould consider a job, but Jeongmin wasn’t keen on those kinds of things either.

“Nope. Homeschooled most my life.” Comes the laugh. 

“Unattended, that’s the key word. No people to deal with.” He hummed. “I have robbed a bank before, it was pretty fun. But not something I’d try again unless I had the necessary equipment.” And sadly, he didn’t. 

“Ohhh Important? That means he has money right? Because I could totally use some of that.” Jeongmin jokes. Kind of. Sure, the boys had a lot of money saved up, but most of it went to supplies; food, water, etc. They burned through whatever they had pretty quickly. 

“I’ve had enough lessons in my life not to need to have that one.” The word ‘lesson’ almost strikes the wrong chord with Jeongmin, but he keeps up a grin.

“I wouldn’t hold up anything. That’d mean hostages and that could get messy. Plus I hate people, I’d rather just bypass that part of the process all together!” Okay, maybe he put a little to much cheer behind that sentence.

“Yeah, you know, a leash– those things pet owners use to keep their pets close.” Jeongmin said with a small chuckle. What a weird guy, not knowing what a leash was. Then again, he barely knew what one was before leaving Neverland. 

“What’s the bird’s name hm? When it’s not attacking me it’s actually kinda pretty.”

“Ohhh Important? That means he has money right? Because I could totally use some of that.” Jeongmin jokes. Kind of. Sure, the boys had a lot of money saved up, but most of it went to supplies; food, water, etc. They burned through whatever they had pretty quickly.

“You have a brother? I wanna met him so  I can complain to him about how you’re so mean.” He said with a laugh, though he had caught the ‘had’ part. Which one was it? Henry needed to make up his mind.

“And yes, five. Two of them are twins if you can believe that.” He laughs softly and grins. “Yup, we’re just a bunch of no good thieves. Trust me that wouldn’t work.”

“Oh, maybe you’re right. I’m so beautiful that people see me asa threat so they try to lock me awayyyy~” There’s a cheeky grin as he continues to speak. “Is that what you’re gonna take me in for? Being to beautiful?”

He manages to at least find the pancake mix and get everything together without Hyunseong’s help. He noticed the elder was still sleeping as he walked by his room, so Jeongmin wouldn’t wake him unless absolutely necessary. He thinks he’s a decent enough cook to not burn these, or at least nor burn the makeshift kitchen down.

He’s made at least two decent pancakes, putting them on a plate on the counter before Minwoo comes in. Jeongmin looks up and gives a smile. “How many do you think you’re going to eat? I’m probably going to eat two –” He knew how spending time with that bastard could affect how you ate - and Minwoo looks smaller than any of them that had been grabbed so far, would alot of food be helpful or cause harm?

He watches the other work as he messes with his hair jut a little bit longer. He didn’t know if it was soothing for the other, but it was certainly keeping Jeongmin calm. He wasn’t to sure why, maybe it was because he did a similar action to Kwangmin when he was working on something like this. 

“It’s pretty.” The answer is simple, short, maybe even a little bit suspicious so he continues on. “It’s the best one I’ve stolen, so I wanted to keep it for as long as I could. I figured you’d be able to fix it, if not then I’d steal one just like it.”
